Tried few times with charcoal and wood. It takes around 25-30 min to 450°C but pizza was great. Real napoletana with 72hrs fermented dough.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This oven is well worth what I paid for it. Before the Karu I had an off brand wood pellet oven. Although adequate it was not easy to use. Difficult maintaining heat. Constantly tending the fire and having to add pellets. With the Ooni Karu and the gas burner option the oven heats quickly, maintains heat well and is easy to control. First pizzas were perfectly done and in a short time. Oven stays hot between cooks and makes it possible to cook one pie after the other. I'm very pleased with my purchase and would recommend the Karu with the optional gas burner.

The features of the oven are great. Very well designed and I particularly appreciate the multi-fuel options!! Great tool for any pizza enthusiasts!!

Brilliant for beginners

Easy to use, produces brilliant tasting pizzas with an authentic pizza oven taste and super quick. As yet to of used wood but will once I’ve built confidence.

Great intro to cooking wood fired pizzas
