Difficult to get up to temp with charcoal, hardwood works better. Clearance is low and doesn’t leave much room to salvage a bad throw. Doesn’t stay hot very long. Back of the pies uneven heat distribution between the back and the front so you need to rotate during cooking.

Love My Ooni...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love our OONI. We really wanted to have pizza at the beach, but the weather has not permitted; with all of the rain in So Cal. So, we tried it out in the backyard and it was a huge hit. Family and friends had a great time.

Great value for money. Used so many times now & the pizzas are just perfect. Really easy to get to high temperature required, i use a mixture of charcoal & oak hard wood. You will not be disappointed

Two pizzas two weeks ago, Pizza and drum sticks last weekend and a porterhouse steak today. I have to hone my pizza making skills but this wood Fire pizza oven is amazing. FYI I am a beginner with this oven, things can only get better!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very pleased with my Ooni Karu 12G. So easy to set up straight out of the box. Fantastic results using the guide given and the Ooni App. Would throughly recommend to everyone to get one , and pay that little bit more for the glass door as it really helps and saves having to open the oven door and loose heat. Speaking of which my glass door has brown stains on the inside from the fire and I cannot remove it. Similar to the marks on a wood burning stove glass door but these can be removed. Any ideas why this has happened please Ooni ? I have used good quality charcoal and Ooni wood in the oven.
Overall very pleased. Can’t wait to get cooking again !!
