Great pizza oven

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great oven. Tried out a few wood fuelled pizzas, turned out amazing. Just recently added the gas burner, much faster to heat, stays up to temp constantly compared to wood but still great tasting pizza!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Professional level wood fired pizzas!! Very happy with this product. Brought it over to a friends house yesterday and had an epic pizza party. We love cooking and had a blast whipping up classic and exotic flavor combos. I’m a relatively experienced home bread baker and love to tinker with stuff like this. I dialed in the fuel/ temp/ dough/ bake-times after about 3 pizza making sessions. If you’re totally new to baking you might want to eliminate a variable and add the gas adapter. Took some trial and error with wood so be ready to mess it up the first few times and learn as you go. That’s the fun of it! Excellent performance. Worth every penny.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We did a trial run with our grand kids before the big day. We celebrated our 35th anniversary by having a pizza luncheon. The day turned out great and the pizzas were a huge success. Everyone got to make any pizza they wanted. We had two different pizza dough and sauce made from scratch. Along with many toppings. Looking forward to start our Saturday night pizza nights. 😊

Just Okay

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fired it up as instructed with two separate 30 minute burn offs. The oven billows black soot and smells like plastic burning. This was using both the Ooni wood and charcoal, pellets seemed to be a bit better. Otherwise it works fine. I’ll probably just buy the gas burner. Overall I’m not impressed with the product at this price point. As a side note any toppings spilled will create a fire flare up. I found the spill impossible to remove from the back and had to just let it burn off.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love the Karu12G. I bought the gas burner to go with it as I had tried using a similar Ooni wood fuelled pizza oven and it did not achieve consistent cooking. The gas fuelled pizzas were perfect first time with the KARU12G and I'm extremely happy with it. I would recommend buying a turning peel as well as a launching peel as this really helped. Also, it takes longer than claimed to reach temperature (35-40minutes as opposed to 15) but this is splitting hairs. I even took it with me on a caravan holiday and it worked a treat in the wind and rain. All things considered, its a great little oven!

Love having dual gas

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the great tasting pizzas that come out, but I'm still trying to work the learning curve on sliding it off the peel easily. Living at 6,700 feet, the max temp I've been able to achieve is ~470 degrees, but the pizzas still come out well. Great quality on the build while remaining light weight. Definitely glad I bought dual-fuel as I can take my time with the wood, or make a quick meal with gas.
