I bought this product in May 2023. About six months later I noticed that the microwave display was constantly changing. I thought it was because of the wifi. Now the microwave has a mind of its own. Several features turn on at any time. The air vent, light, and the microwave itself. I disconnected the vent feature and could live with light engaged. But what i can't live with is a microwave that self starts. Thats is a serious hazard. At this moment I'm seriously considering replacing it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Piece of junk. Poorly designed and not working.

We purchased this Microwave in July 2024. What a surprise it was to find out that when opening the door, it protrudes into the space on the hinge site, even though the cooking chamber is much narrower than the 30-inch width of the unit. It cannot be installed with a panel on the left side because the door will not open. We already had a Samsung range, and to have a nice set of appliances, we modified the panel for the door to open. Now, after about seven months of service, this unit is dead. It displays a C-F2 error, which means the control panel lost connection with the processor. Reset procedures do not do any good. The Sharp microwave we replaced with this Samsung unit was our wedding gift and has been working for 31 years. It still works at a different location.

I looked at Viking microwaves, but they were crazy expensive. This model works great, is sleek and looks wonderful! I love the blue interior too!

It's just a microwave

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It serves the purpose that a microwave is meant for so i dont think its a bad product but, the "smart" and modernized features missed the mark. It's not a microwave I'd choose on my own. This was already installed when I moved into my new house and the slim is more inconvenient than anything, I can't even fit a large to-go coffee cup in it.
It melts my dishes...like quality dishes that I've put in other microwaves with no issues. There's plenty that it hasn't melted but the ones that did get wrecked were some of my favorites. I also dont understand what the point of being able to get the microwave set up to cook something from you're phone is, if you can't start it from your phone. Im not gonna dig my phone out to set it all up on my phone when i already have to be right in front of the microwave-Now if I could be in the middle of something when I remember I forgot my coffee in there again and need to heat it up and could start that quick and be able to finish up the loose ends on my current task without running up and down the stairs. That'd be cool or if I could let something defrost all day in there and then start the microwave on my way home from work to make sure its finished and ready to just start cooking when I get home, that'd be great. I do like the naming feature and getting notified on my phone when its done cooking.

Love the Size!

This microwave has some great features. The best part about it is its slim size. It makes it so much easier to cook on my stove top underneath! I was worried about the size when purchasing, but in the end it fits everything I need. I haven't found anything I wanted to put in it that didn't fit. Being so slim, it is higher up and would be difficult for shorter people to use without a stool. If you have small kids, it's actually a benefit that they can't reach it! I love the blue ceramic interior, which is easy to clean. I like the presets and it is easy to update the time. It also looks very sleek and modern. One drawback of the microwave is its bulky door. The buttons are on the outside of the door, so the door is very long and may hit your head if you're not used to it. The fan is very loud and powerful, which is good. However, the fan button is positioned right where my fingers land when I close the door, which is annoying. Also, so far the display has frozen three times in the few months I've had it, requiring me to unplug and plug it back in each time to reset it. Overall this is a great microwave to save space, and an excellent microwave if you want a perfect match with other Samsung appliances.
