Don’t buy this microwave

The numbers on this microwave do not light up and they are black on black so you can’t see them. There’s no way to light up the instrument panel. The only item that stands out is the stop button, which is red. I wish I would not have bought this item.

Massive oversight tarnishes this microwave

Why is the control panel not backlit? Bought as a bundle with a range (which has a control panel with white numbers - not backlit but easily seen). Who saw this design and said “Yup, that works.” Doesn’t even need to be backlit, just using the same color scheme as the range would be sufficient. A truly stupid design flaw. Please fire whoever signed off on this. Don’t overthink it, use the white numbers on the control panel just like the ranges this hangs above. Looks sleek and cool…until you realize it came at the price of functionality. Do better.

Couple negatives

Two negative things about this microwave. You can't read the panel so it's hard to know what buttons to push, and you can't use the timer and microwave at the same time. Difficult to use, but there is nothing Samsung can or will do about it. Wouldn't buy again.

Unreliable quality, stopped working AGAIN!!!

Stopped working after 6-7 months, repaired under warranty, 2 months later stopped working again...... I assume this is a bad design or mine is a defective unit. Keep in mind that after the repair the warranty would only be for 2-3 months......

Great microwave

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this slim oven. It fits in my small space but not too small. Only 2 complaints. The fan button is in wrong spot. When I close it sometimes it turns it on. And the smart cook buttons. You have to guess at what you are cooking by instructions on the oven

Adequate basic MW but there are problems

I have had this microwave for 8 months or so and there are 3 things that annoy me. 1. Clock Does not automatically sync even though the MW is connected to my network 2. Fan makes a lot of noise but water vapor from steaming pots never really gets drawn through the filters. I do not have this exhausted outside. I just use the internal path where the fan blows out the top. 3. How about a real manual for my specific MW! Trying to figure out the reheat, auto-cook etc sequence is really annoying. …and why isn’t there an reheat for 1 piece of pizza? You can only do an auto-reheat for 2 pieces?

Not a good microwave

I bought this microwave last year and it is the slowest heating microwave ever. Occasionally stops working and it takes forever to warm a glass of milk. Also, it is not possible to clearly see the inside of the microwave when it is on.

Poor product, buyer beware

Didn’t work out of the box, but I was happy that Samsung covered the repair under warranty. Of course here I am now just 18 days past the warranty expiration and the microwave is dead once again with a C-F2 Absolute garbage and not at all what I would expect from a name like Samsung. Very frustrating.

If you get an error code, service is pretty much needed. First, you may clear the error if you power cycle the microwave.
