Needed Product, Wrong Execution

With our oldest daughter, we would get lightheaded trying to use the manual nose Frida. With the birth of our second daughter, I decided to grab an electric nose Frida for many reasons.
1.) So the grandparents could get snot
2.) Our nanny could get snot without needing another mouthpiece
3.) So we weren't nearly passing out trying to suck snot out of a crying baby's nose.

I read the reviews and thought it couldn't be as bad as everyone said...but it is! The suction is trash! The engineering is trash. And the sustainability is trash. The product doesn't work, and it breaks quickly. Snot shoots out the back of it. It doesn't wash well. Snot gets into parts of the device it shouldn't.
This is a good concept - a NEEDED concept! But the Frida Product team needs to return to the drawing board and re-design this product. If they get it right, they'll have a winning product! This one is unfortunately very wrong.

I bought this 3 months ago and it stopped working. Not the best design, after 1 month a brown liquid would come out of the hole in the side (it had a horrible smell). Makes me sad because I love most of frida products. But this one? I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Works good

My baby got rsv and to help not have to go to urgent care every time we needed suctioning, we got this. It works pretty good, but the container leaks underneath. Now the motor makes a whirring sound and doesn’t seem as powerful. But it sill helps me not have to exacerbate my arms by sucking b by boogers through the other frida nose sucker!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Bought this when my child got their first cold and it worked great, but then it some how got clogged and will no longer suck. Wouldn’t waste the money for a one time use item.

Electric snot sucker

I did not like this product. I tried using it on my 6 month old when he was struggling to breath due to very bad congestion and NOTHING would come out! I borrowed the original Frida snot sucker from my sister and that worked much better at getting out the snot.
