I am a nurse, so when I use suction, I need something that compares to hospital grade. With the right technique, this gets secretions beautifully, however, this was very poorly designed. Who makes a device with an open hole into the motor? After my first one was ruined and I learned the hard way, I mastered the cleaning technique with the second and used it for quite a while. All it took was one time of a strong suction and it pulled secretions right into the motor. It started sputtering and then stopped working all together, even when trying to dry it out. The third one came and I had very high hopes with my technique, but alas, we only used it 2-3 times and it already sucked up into the motor. Who designed this? It has a major flaw. I’m grateful that Frida has a great warranty on this product, so it’s been replaced for free every time, but please put a filter over the hole into the motor.
