I have 3 others that still work, but my most recent one was 10 years old and the battery charge wasn't lasting as long as I would like. I also wanted one with a back-lit keyboard. The new one is also quite a bit faster.

Between the stick & the locaiton of the mouse buttons, including the middle button, my hands almost never leave the keyboard. No need to slide my fingers around on the pad! So convenient.

I used to be unable to work without an external mouse but now I can do my work with the convenient trackpad and touchscreen. The new laptop battery life also provides me with hours not needing to charge, works great when travelling including at the airport or while on a flight.
