[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had to do a lot of research to understand what exactly I was even looking for before I made my choice on this make and model. I'm positive it's got more power and security features than I even know what to do with, but after having some crap-tastic old laptops for years, I was ready to shell out for bells and whistles to ensure a seamless user experience for years to come. Not sure yet about the years to come part, but so far this baby is fast and allows me to have a stupid number of tabs open at once while still running at peak performance. It's quiet, the fan isn't working overtime, it doesn't heat up much at all, the battery lasts quite a long time, it's lightweight, and really, that's the gist of what I was after. I'm quite happy with it. Perhaps someday I'll understand all it's features, but for now, I'm rocking and rolling just fine!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not happy with this laptop. It just feels cheap. Laptop moves when typing on it. Screen is shiny, not matted, which makes an awful glare.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a solid laptop. I have been buying ThinkPad X1 Carbons for my last 3 laptops, but I realized ultra-lightness and ultra-slimness weren't actually that important to me (it never leaves the house), so I got this one a little cheaper, but it still has everything I need. The ethernet port is actually nice (for rare specific occasions) too, which the slimmer ones don't have. I was a little disappointed with the camera shutter, which feels really cheap--I close it after every meeting and I am SURE I will break it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use the laptop for pretty basic internet and word processing. It is pretty quick and seems sturdy without being too heavy. But the battery life is terrible, it only lasts around 4 hours even though I followed all the battery saver recommendations and don't do anything very battery-intense on it. And the display is not as clear as a Macbook.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The laptop is great, love the configuration and design. Its lightweight and the camera protection is a great feature added. The fingerprint scanner part needs to be more sensitive as it takes 2-3 tries sometimes more for it to recognize and needs finger to be placed in a fixed position. That sometimes irritates otherwise its a great laptop
