Knobs dangit!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It works as designed. The design is idiotic. We need knobs! If the water is boiling over I want to turn off the heat NOW, not after drying a damp finger, press and hold the burner selector and then slide the power slider down. Every power change is a multi-step process, beeping all the way. The control surface is where you put a hot pan from the oven, and geez, it does not like that. In short, the control interface is whacked. The oven is fine.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I’m an Induction fan.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had the stove about 3weeks, this is my second induction range. I so want to love it, but not completely. I find the controls difficult to operate, and unfortunately, very little instructions to follow. Once I get it on, I think it cooks well. I like the steam oven very much, really easy to clean. I settled for this range because the price was right, afraid to spend too much on appliances because they just do not last and repairs are crazy expensive.

Induction Range/Oven Review
on June 24, 2024

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This slide-in induction range with oven gets very hot to the touch (it can burn you) when the oven is on for a long time or whenever the air-fry mode is used. The insides walls of the adjacent cabinet walls becomes very hot as well, and the pantry items (mostly spices, oils, and vinegars) become quite warm due to the heat transfer. I don't' believe this product is well insulated and am a bit disappointed by this as I've been a KitchenAid fan for many decades.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We’ve only had it for one month so we are still learning, but overall, we are pleased with the purchase. This is our second induction range (different brand) , we are hoping for better performance for the range top this time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Boils very quickly. Way less heat in the kitchen. Surface is cool and easy to clean. Like the auto boil and simmer function. Can keep soup slowly boiling for hours.

Disappointing; I want my Kenmore induction back!

We bought this in April 2024 when our Kenmore induction range died. We were a bit limited because we didn't want a range that connected to the Internet and we couldn't get the Samsung or LG because of the Baltimore port closure. So we went with the KitchenAid, as our KitchenAid dishwasher works fairly well.
This range has been a disappointment. The work space is taken up by the push button controls, which are super sensitive. We don't have much counter space, so we need to use our range for a work surface. The buttons go off and flash error messages with a loud beep when even a light bottle or bag is placed on them. And heaven forbid they get wet when a liquid you are cooking drips or spills - that sets off the buttons too and you have to turn the burners off and then on again.
The buttons for the range are just as sensitive and problematic.
Your burner sizes don't work well with even standard, induction-friendly large frying pans from companies like Calaphon. I don't know why the front right burner is so huge and there is so much wasted space in the back.
Please stop these awful flat front controls and put them on a panel in the back again. With induction, you don't reach over hot burners.
This KitchenAid heats more slowly than my Kenmore did, both for the range and the oven. I wish I could return this range, but I guess I'm stuck with it until it dies.

We are constantly working to improve our appliances and our service, and it is only through feedback from customers like you that we are able to do so. We have documented all of the concerns you have mentioned, for review by our managers and engineers. Our managers and engineers do regularly review our files, to look for areas in which we can improve our products. We know that can be disheartening; especially when you have just purchased a new and you have high expectations for it. We’re sorry that we are not meeting/delivering these expectations.

Loving my new stove.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kitchen remodel was finished last week so now I can cook! So far I love the stove although it has taken a bit to get used to the controls. The cooktop is so fast to heat anything. I love the slide out on the oven rack. It makes it so easy to take things in and out of the oven. I wish all the racks did that.

Can't find anything I don't like

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very pleased with this range. It replaced a VERY expensive range and I couldn't be more pleased with it. The oven is so quiet that I have to keep checking it is on. Because the oven is bigger, I was afraid it would take longer to heat, but it doesn't. The induction burners are hotter than my previous induction range even though their rating is less, Very pleased!!!
