Do not buy, the oven is NOT self cleaning.
on April 20, 2024
Posted by: Merida
I bought this stove in September to replace a dual fuel one that I loved. This one is not good. The hob works very well but the oven is terrible. The temperature is inaccurate, it takes ages to heat up and it it NOT self clean. OK you can clean the the bottom with the water clean, but the racks and the rest have to cleaned by hand. A great disappointment. I am in my seventies and getting down on my hands and knees to clean the oven is not easy! I do a lot of cooking and my old convection oven was great. I am replacing this one with another company's model at great expense.

Bad customer service
on June 28, 2024
Posted by: 2003coli
If you look at their responses to customer reviews, they give the reviewer a case number and write something as if it will help the customer. Don't be fooled by this.
If I contact KitchenAid again with the case number, etc., they only bother me by asking for all the information like the first time I reported the problem, and the final answer is the same as the one they gave me when I first suggested it.
Just a waste of time and energy
After 5 months of using it (I'm not a chef and I use the stovetop for about 15 minutes a day), they take no responsibility for their product and the customer's inconvenience and say that the warranty does not cover it.
very bad

We are constantly working to improve our appliances and our service, and it is only through feedback from customers like you that we are able to do so. We have documented all of the concerns you have mentioned, for review by our managers and engineers. Our managers and engineers do regularly review our files, to look for areas in which we can improve our products. We know that can be disheartening; especially when you have just purchased a new and you have high expectations for it. We’re sorry that we are not meeting/delivering these expectations.

Horrible controls

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Unfortunately I hate this oven. I regret getting rid of my basic oven for this. I was very excited because I love kitchenaid but this is my first major appliance from them and I am so disappointed. The oven looks expensive and feels cheap. The material is super lightweight and just does not feel like a heavy duty oven. I’d say the pro is the aesthetics of it but that’s all. I also like the super clear glass and the oven light seems to make whatever is in the oven extremely visible. The part I hate is the controls. An oven should not be this complex even for a professional. You have to push so many buttons to do one simple task. I feel very frustrated when cooking with this because of how long it takes to do one thing. The control numbers for the cooktop seem to be so inconsistent. One number is lightly cooking something with the next number above burning it. Also it was very confusing in the beginning I had to re read the directions over and over to figure stuff out. Also another thing I hate about this is the timer. What kind of timer makes a short beep? Had I not been standing by the oven when the timer goes off I would have been unaware the timer was done. If you like making task complicated then I’d recommend this to you but if you just want to simply turn on a burner and get cooking this isn’t it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

WOW!! Induction cooking is Amazing!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have always preferred a gas range for cooking, as my kitchen in electric, and the older electric range sucked, I had a chance to try this KicthenAid induction range, and wow!! I am impressed.
I love the flat glass top. with the controls built in(I think the controls are really great and easy to use once you have figured them out).
Stainless Steel is so great, It is easy to use and clean.
Induction cooking is really precise, I know exactly what settings to use for Salute, frying and pancakes, that I rarely overcook or burn anything, it is almost like cooking on gas. So fast to heat up too.... I have never seen water boil in a pot so quick, the boost function on the burners, so easy to get a pot up to temperature.
The Air Fry Mode in the oven is amazing.it really gives a perfect crispy finish.
The Steam Bake option works great. I have never tried that before with my baking, the results have been perfect every time.
The only con I have so far, is if you put anything on the glass top over the controls(easy to do, as I sometimes use the stove top for extra counter space), it starts beeping at you, but I am fine with that.
I really do recommend this KitchenAid Convection Range. It has exceeded all my expectations. I have been telling everyone how great this range is.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Don’t buy it

You should not buy this oven.
I've only been using this for 5 months and the black glass on the cooktop has turned cloudy. It looks like it was scratched with a metal that's stronger than glass.
I reported this to KitchenAid (Wolf)
Their conclusion was that it was a 'cosmetic issue' and they did nothing for me and said that if I wanted the glass on the cooktop changed I would have to pay all the costs.
The electric oven range I used before was cheaper than this one, but this problem occurred after using it for about 15 years. So there is no reason to buy this at a high price.
Moreover, it is a cosmetic problem!!
I want the glass on my cooktop to be black and shiny after I'm done cleaning it.
Everyone is like that, but this one is cloudy and looks like it still has dirt on it.
There are two people in my family and I cook minimally. Nevertheless, after using it for 5 months, this problem occurred. I also cleaned it by purchasing the products they recommended on their website. There is no after-sales service for any problems customers have. I am very disappointed and very angry that KitchenAid is not working.
But I feel unhappy because all my home appliances are KitchenAid.
Cosmetic problem!!

Best range/stove we’ve had yet!
on December 27, 2023

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife and I have been married for almost 50 years, and we’ve had a number of stoves and ranges, gas as well as electric. This is our first induction range, and we love it. The cooktop heats faster than anything we’ve ever used, and the temperature settings are very precise. All the laudatory comments about induction cooking are true! The only regret so far is that our favorite kettle is not induction compatible.
The oven is large and very easy to use. My wife loves the two lights that improve visibility, as well as the rollout rack. Temperature control is excellent. Everything we’ve baked has come out perfectly. One note, though. The convection conversion feature takes a little getting used to. For many recipes that were written for standard ovens, we have found the conversion takes the temperature too low, and we have more consistent results without the conversion.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Induction Stove Top, My Favourite
on August 8, 2024
Posted by: kar628
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second KitchenAid Induction stove. Love the clean lines, the lack of heat from burners other than just under the pan. No increase in heat to the area around the stove. Simple cleaning of the service as the only part that is hot is right under the pot so a spill outside that area doesn't get baked on.

Five Stars And Two Thumbs Up!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Kitchenaid range is a very well built piece of appliance. My wife loves the speed of the induction cooktop and range. We replaced all of our kitchen appliances with Kitchenaid, including the dish washer. My wife has been a chef for the past 20 years and she rate these appliances as some of the best she’s cooked on. The air fryer is an amazing feature on the range. The dishes are super clean and it is amongst the quiet dishwasher we’ve ever used. Calling in to register the items was fast and a breeze. Five stars and two thumbs up for these appliances.
