Range of my dreams!

I've had regular glass cooktops for 25 years, and upgraded to this gorgeous Kitchen Aid induction range this spring. The responsiveness of induction is astonishing, after spending so long moving pans on and off traditional electric burners to manage adjustments to temperature. Pans heat SUPER fast on the burners. Water boils in 2-5 minutes (depending on volume). And driving this range feels like living in the future - all the satisfying beeps as you adjust the burner settings. The oven works great as well, and I love the easy-roll top shelf and wish all the shelves had the easy glide. The oven preheats in normal time - about 10 minutes for 425, and holds temperatures really well. I use convection for everything, and the fan in this range is so quiet, I find myself wandering into the kitchen to make sure the oven is running. I look forward to many years of happy cooking on this range. Highly recommend.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Super fast cooktop time to bring things to a boil

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s a joy to cook again! The accurate response time on the induction cook top is fantastic and I love the sturdy oven trays! Just tried the air fryer basket and it did a great job. The larger oven cavity makes it a bit longer than the smaller compartment size of the small appliances. However, it’s a great feature to have.

Knobs dangit!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It works as designed. The design is idiotic. We need knobs! If the water is boiling over I want to turn off the heat NOW, not after drying a damp finger, press and hold the burner selector and then slide the power slider down. Every power change is a multi-step process, beeping all the way. The control surface is where you put a hot pan from the oven, and geez, it does not like that. In short, the control interface is whacked. The oven is fine.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I’m an Induction fan.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had the stove about 3weeks, this is my second induction range. I so want to love it, but not completely. I find the controls difficult to operate, and unfortunately, very little instructions to follow. Once I get it on, I think it cooks well. I like the steam oven very much, really easy to clean. I settled for this range because the price was right, afraid to spend too much on appliances because they just do not last and repairs are crazy expensive.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought appliance during a sale. Both my wife and are happy with the new snd easy to clean range. Good looking with a timeless design. My wife chose this unit for it’s easier to clean and the cooler temperatures while cooking. Induction cooking is new to us but we are adapting and loving it.

Induction Range/Oven Review
on June 24, 2024

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This slide-in induction range with oven gets very hot to the touch (it can burn you) when the oven is on for a long time or whenever the air-fry mode is used. The insides walls of the adjacent cabinet walls becomes very hot as well, and the pantry items (mostly spices, oils, and vinegars) become quite warm due to the heat transfer. I don't' believe this product is well insulated and am a bit disappointed by this as I've been a KitchenAid fan for many decades.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We’ve only had it for one month so we are still learning, but overall, we are pleased with the purchase. This is our second induction range (different brand) , we are hoping for better performance for the range top this time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Boils very quickly. Way less heat in the kitchen. Surface is cool and easy to clean. Like the auto boil and simmer function. Can keep soup slowly boiling for hours.
