A stove for people who don’t actually cook

I truly loath whoever designed this cook top. Putting the buttons on the cook top makes it infuriating. It’s a beautiful stove for someone who wants to show off their money and have a sleek looking design, but never actually cooks anything.
1) If you set anything on/near the buttons (like a pan you just took out of the oven, a dishcloth, an oven mitt, a bowl of pancake batter, etc.) it will beep at you. And it will keep beeping at you endlessly until you move it.
2) instead of simply turning a knob, you have to hit the power button, another button it indicate your burner, and then slide your finger up and down a line to change the temp. So, don’t plan on making any quick adjustments if you’re trying to coordinate multiple things, especially since the buttons only respond about 75% percent of the time.
3) have a pot accidentally splash or boil over? Have fun when you clean it up, bc if it’s over the buttons, the whole cooktop turns off. So then you get to turn everything on again with all your button pushes. It’s also harder to stop a boil over bc of point 2.
4) make sure you start preheating the oven the second you think about cooking, because it takes ages. Like twice as long as any over I’ve ever had (gas, electric, or induction).
We inherited this stove with a house we just bought. So I have no choice until I can afford a new one. But I would never, ever, ever pay money for this. I’ve moved a lot and used a lot of cheap stoves that were better than this. I’ve never had such strong feelings about a kitchen appliance. Get yourself one with knobs or something that isn’t directly on the cook top.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

No crowding on stovetop!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been pretty new to electric stoves this past year, but the kitchenAid has an accurate heat level that correlates with the settings. The stove also has a spacious Convection oven that is going to be so perfect for the holidays, I love that the grates are actually thick and heavy duty; I've put my heavy dutch oven on the racks and was never worried about the weight. My favorite part has to be the way I can arrange my pots on the stove top! I literally cook 3 meals a day every single day as a housewife and I love that the stove top was made with busy cooks in mind. The way the heat spots are set up to maximize your cooking potential without pots bumping into each other is my absolute favorite! It's also a low noise oven and very easy to use for beginners as well as pros. I've been using my new stove daily for a month now and no problems! The only reason I dropped a star was due to uneven heating in the conventional oven (need to rotate food on racks), but I am still aquainting myself to the heat levels daily.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this KitchenAid 30 inch 4 element induction slide in convection range with air fryer for a couple of weeks. I have been using a gas stove for years so I wasn’t sure how this was going to compare. My gas stove heats water very quickly. This stove definitely heats your water quickly. The only downside is you need special pots and pans. It has four cooking surfaces. Two of them you can combine to one for bigger cookware. The oven has so many features. The induction is great. Cooks your food evenly. We use an air fryer regularly so this was a bonus to have it included in the oven. Works awesome. The steam feature is probably my favorite features. So easy to use and my vegetables turn out so moist. I am very impressed with this range. Lots of bells and whistles.

GREAT PURCHASE!!!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this stove to replace a dual fuel one that we have had, and loved the way it cooks, for over 15 years. Decided to try this induction stove to reduce our use of natural gas and to reduce the mess made by the gas fumes. It turns out this was a very good decision, as soon as we complete our utensil package to fully utilize the stove. While it appears to be difficult to use, it doesn't take much time to become familiar with the controls and how to use them and the stove. It, indeed, does boil water and other liquids quicker than our gas cook top did and immediately stops cooking when you turn it off, just like a gas stove. I thought the cook top might be tough to keep clean, but with the help of some cleaner products, it comes clean very nicely, and foods don't burn onto the cook top like they do on the older type of glass-top electric stoves.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Beautiful stove. I just recently replaced all my other appliances with Kitchenaid products. My only disappointment with the stove is that there is only one large burner. But I am going to invest in a flat griddle to utilize the smaller double burners.

Great oven, no reliab authorized service in area.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this before Thanksgiving so my wife could cook our Thanksgiving dinner. Our prior KitchenAid model (same model) would not retain oven temperature. In East Texas it is very hard to get a reliable authorized repair service, and the one they have serving this area is worthless. It went out of warranty just pass 5 years, but had issues prior. Since all of our other items: Refrigerator, Microwave and Dishwasher have the same appearance, It was imperative that they match, so we ordered this slitly newer version than the 2016 model. My wife loves this stove. She has not used all the new ceature improvements like the air fryer, but she hopes it will last longer than the last. The old stove 2016 still works, but again the oven has no consistency in temperature holding and no service.
