Do not buy - kitchenaid isn't what it used to be

We purchased this range in 2021, having always really enjoyed Kitchenaid appliances and products. Something major has broken every year - the motherboard has been replaced, the heating elements each broke, the fan stopped working, and now the oven takes 2 hours to get up to temperature (it's reminiscent of the heating element that broke in 2022, so I'm assuming that's what it is again). Kitchenaid did offer to extend the warranty the first two times, but now has deemed our four-year-old oven to be "too old of a unit to cover". We're disappointed and will now just look to replace it with something from another company.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Doesn’t heat well

I bought this range less than a year ago. It is not a very powerful range. I had a repair person come look at it cause I thought it was running on full power. He told me it was my pots and pans. So I invested in stainless steel one piece induction pots/pans. It still doesn’t work well. To simmer a pot you need to have it on 7/10. Anything lower it barely cooks. Always need to use high levels when cooking. Very disappointed in this item and that I purchased new pots/pans and it still doesn’t work. Wish I stuck with electric or went with another brand.

Bought this stove about 8 months ago. Love love love it!! Would buy it again!!! Beautiful and so easy to clean also safe!!! Can’t say enough about it!!!!

ets. Undercooked holansndaise sauce. It's a work in progress. Previous range also induction convection once but this range cooks differently from my previous electrolux
Don't like stove top buttons as everything turns on or off can't turn one burner off and let the others cook

Great except 1 thing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a kitchen aid induction double oven and replaced it with this, I was already familiar with how great this range is. One thing I noticed that is different in how difficult it is to power on the cook top, it takes multiple tries for me to get it to accept my finger. If you have oily fingers it will not work, I have to wash and dry my hands prior to use. My old range was not this difficult. 😞 If you only have one burner on you still have to select that burner to be able to adjust the temperature of the element 👎 this is a pain I hate this ‘new update’ But I am glad that I finally figured out the secret to using it, other than that this is a great range/oven. No complaints. The touch touch is actually nice to have but this model compared to my old model (2017) is a hassle. Would I still buy it? YES. Do I recommend it? Yes!

Horrible product

absolute garbage. I purchase the set and the stove and dishwasher have errors and controls stop working. the stove turns on and does not heat up when the cooktop part buttons are used. The buttons for the stove part dont work at all. Oven only turns on when the cooktop nob is turned then it allows you to slect oven but never moves past preheat. cootop not working at all. Dishwasher same issue with buttons not working all the sudden. used the trouble shooting options, unplugges, but nothing works. Do not waste your money on kitchen aid, too expensive and poorly made. My last oven lasted 14 years. my sister had the same issue with hers as well. Repair after repair.
