Safety hazard.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was extremely disappointed with the stove. I used the oven twice and made the decision to return it.
It is a safety and fire hazard.
The stainless steel front and top where the digital controls are, (front panel) was so hot that you could not put your hand on it. So easy for an accident to happen whether it is an adult or child. I have expressed my opinion to family and friends and also to a couple of sales personnel.
Very disappointed. It took alot of looking and comparing before I chose to buy it.

Will break down quickly

I have this same model and after only 2 years, 10 months the oven has stopped working. I would not recommend buying this product unless you are planning to move away and leave this ready to fail product to the next occupant. Kitchen Aid, when it was a subsidiary of Hobart. had great products. Now that they are under the umbrella of Whirlpool quality is horrible. Another example, I bought a K45SS stand mixer in 1981 and it lasted 35 years of heavy use. When it finally died, I bout the same model in 2019 and it lasted just 13 months. You can fool me once, maybe twice, but I will never consider or purchase another Kitchen Aid product.

Great features, sleek looking

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so glad that I decided to go with induction when my electric range went and found this KitchenAid. I could never go back to standard electric. Induction really is the closest to gas you can get. I do wish there were knobs to control the stovetop rather than a control panel. But I am getting used to that part. The oven is fantastic. I love the slide out rack, which you normally only see on the expensive professional brands. The oven features are great. The proof function made the best pizza dough. The convection works great for pizzas. Chicken wings came good and were easy to make with air fry. The oven heats up quickly. It is so quiet when it's on also. I can barely even tell. My old oven would constantly make clicking sounds, which this does not do. Definitely an upgrade and would recommend to anyone looking for an induction range.

Somewhat Disappointed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this oven a couple of months ago and while we were initially very excited to make the switch from electric element to induction, we have found a few aspects to be less than ideal. We like the look of this oven (matches our KitchenAid fridge) and were drawn in by the bridging feature. We have not yet used the air fry function of the oven.
Cons:
-We were not able to hear how loud the induction top is before purchasing (not an active model in the storeroom), and the pulsating clicks are annoying. The induction top continues to click for all target areas that have any magnetic items on them, even if those target areas are not engaged (i.e., set at 0).
-The graduations on the induction top would lead one to believe that there would be on the order of 16 settings from off (0) to max (9), but the electronic selections only allow 0 to 9 in whole number increments. We have found difficulty in simmering some items (3 is too high, 2 is too low, and the automatic "simmer" setting has yet to work properly for us).
-We were hoping that the induction would allow us more careful control of the cooktop, but while the on/off is fast, the lack of precision between the settings may negate any speed benefits during setting changes. We are not sure if the nature of the response during setting changes may be related to the pulsating clicks/cycling of the induction coils.
-The timer only allows settings in whole minute increments, and the timer alarm is very quiet.
-The instructions that came with the oven were lacking. We didn't realize there was a protective coating of oil on all interior surfaces, and just about smoked out our house the first time we used the oven. I also suspect that the oven runs on the cold side, and the instruction booklet does not contain any calibration information (we are hoping to find some guidance on-line).
-The induction controls are on the induction top and sometimes feel both slow to respond and easy to accidentally turn off.
-The portion of the unit above the oven door and immediately in front of the induction top gets quite warm. This area is now slightly annoying when using the far induction targets while the oven is on. This more an issue for me (shorter than my husband) as I have to lean over this warm area to reach pots at the back, and would hate to attempt this with any shoulder mobility restrictions.
Pros:
+The "boost" function is nice and does boil water very quickly.
+The slide out rack design is very handy, and there are lots of options for rack positioning within the oven.
+The oven cavity is quite large, so there are no capacity issues.
+No nobs = easier cleaning of cook top.
+Can accommodate very large pots when using the bridging feature to join two of the induction targets.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

No crowding on stovetop!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been pretty new to electric stoves this past year, but the kitchenAid has an accurate heat level that correlates with the settings. The stove also has a spacious Convection oven that is going to be so perfect for the holidays, I love that the grates are actually thick and heavy duty; I've put my heavy dutch oven on the racks and was never worried about the weight. My favorite part has to be the way I can arrange my pots on the stove top! I literally cook 3 meals a day every single day as a housewife and I love that the stove top was made with busy cooks in mind. The way the heat spots are set up to maximize your cooking potential without pots bumping into each other is my absolute favorite! It's also a low noise oven and very easy to use for beginners as well as pros. I've been using my new stove daily for a month now and no problems! The only reason I dropped a star was due to uneven heating in the conventional oven (need to rotate food on racks), but I am still aquainting myself to the heat levels daily.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this KitchenAid 30 inch 4 element induction slide in convection range with air fryer for a couple of weeks. I have been using a gas stove for years so I wasn’t sure how this was going to compare. My gas stove heats water very quickly. This stove definitely heats your water quickly. The only downside is you need special pots and pans. It has four cooking surfaces. Two of them you can combine to one for bigger cookware.
The oven has so many features. The induction is great. Cooks your food evenly. We use an air fryer regularly so this was a bonus to have it included in the oven. Works awesome. The steam feature is probably my favorite features. So easy to use and my vegetables turn out so moist.
I am very impressed with this range. Lots of bells and whistles.

GREAT PURCHASE!!!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this stove to replace a dual fuel one that we have had, and loved the way it cooks, for over 15 years. Decided to try this induction stove to reduce our use of natural gas and to reduce the mess made by the gas fumes. It turns out this was a very good decision, as soon as we complete our utensil package to fully utilize the stove. While it appears to be difficult to use, it doesn't take much time to become familiar with the controls and how to use them and the stove. It, indeed, does boil water and other liquids quicker than our gas cook top did and immediately stops cooking when you turn it off, just like a gas stove. I thought the cook top might be tough to keep clean, but with the help of some cleaner products, it comes clean very nicely, and foods don't burn onto the cook top like they do on the older type of glass-top electric stoves.
