I use it all the time for that crispy texture I love on my foods The stove top has touch screen buttons that are really smart. The elements don't heat up without a pot or pan on top which is a great safety feature. I've had nothing but good luck baking in this oven. I enjoy the look and features of this beautiful KitchenAid range. It looks great in my kitchen and is making cooking easier.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m extremely happy with my Kitchen Aid oven! That being said there is a learning curve with the induction cooktop, but I now love it! Make sure to purchase appropriate cookware for induction cooking. The controls all turn easily. The heat is even, and cleanup is easy! The oven is spacious! All materials are high quality. I feel KitchenAid name stands alone! I highly recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The KitchenAid - Convection Range with Air Fry is amazing. So modern with such incredible features. It makes cooking so much easier and cleaner than it would with a gas stove. Not to mention it's so much safer than gas. I don't feel like I always have to cook with the window open, because I'm not breathing anything harmful in. This really is an incredible oven and has really made cooking a much more enjoyable process.

GREAT COOKTOP

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The range was installed at the beginning of September. I really like using the unit especially the Induction cooktop. One complaint I have is that the installers did not install the anti-tip bracket. I informed the vendor, and they sent out installers with the wrong bracket. I am still waiting for a proper bracket to be installed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was a little nervous to transition to an induction stovetop as I’ve always had a traditional stove but I was impressed. It heats up well without any issues. I was able to quickly gage what settings were the equivalent to the heat I’m used to cooking with quickly. Our family’s been trying to eat healthier and the air fryer feature works great on our veggies. Overall I look how modern the stove looks and fits in great with our kitchen.

Burners and Menu:
The range controls and menu are on the top which puts it out of sight for younger children to turn on the burners accidentally. The menu is fairly easy to use and will take time to adjust but not complicated.
Oven and Air Fryer:
It heats up really quick and meals are cooked evenly. The main rack slides out smoothly. The oven light is nice and bright.
The air fryer does gets food much crispier than in bake mode. And the included basket is a plus.
Looks:
The stainless steel and glass top surface with the menu and controls have a very modern feel and sleek look.
We are very content so far with this range.

A Pretty Awesome Machine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am really liking this machine. It does requires ferrous cookware, which is easy to find. I did a search online using the word induction and found lots of options that worked.
Aesthetically, the range is low profile, which allows us to see our marble backsplash. The exhaust vent from the oven is in the back, which is nice. I've had other ovens where the vent is in the front, blowing heat all over, but this one doesn't do that, which I love in these hot Sacramento days. The cooktop won't turn on unless the cookware is on the burner. All the controls are digital push panel. There are various oven setting options that I find useful, like being able to set the time the oven turns on, what temp and how long it cooks for. So I can go exercise and come home to the cooking being complete and with the oven safely off. There are a lot of noisy beeps but the settings allow all of that to be turned off, thankfully for a nice silent operation!
The oven pre-heat time is average. The cooktop heat up to cool down rivals gas. I was able to bring to boil a 12 quart stock pot of room temp water to a rolling boil in 6.5 minutes, which was about 60% faster than our old unit. I turn off the burner and the water immediately stops boiling. The quick response time makes cooking so easy compared to our old classic flat top electric unit.
The top shelf pulls out, which I've never had before and I love it. No more taking items out of the oven to check on them. Just pull out the shelf rack and push it back in when done.
The air fry option doesn't work as efficiently as the smaller countertop unit that we have. It works like a cross between an air fryer and a convection oven. It comes with an air fry "basket" and just needs a cookie sheet under it to catch liquids.
The bottom drawer stores some of our smaller pans.
Overall, the cooktop heats up quickly and evenly. The oven also cooks evenly. The ceramic top has been very easy to keep clean. This unit is a winner. We are VERY happy with it!
