This GE slim microwave is absolutely stunning! It looks way more expensive than what a paid. So easy to operate, I just love it! It’s the perfect size for my basement kitchen! I highly recommend this microwave!

It’s a fantastic range hood/microwave combo. It looks great, just the right size, light feature is nice, the fan isn’t real quiet, but it’s not too loud.
Here’s the thing, though - installation is a freaking nightmare. The bolts to attach from the upper cabinet to the top of the unit are WAY too close to the edges of the cabinet sides. Getting this in was super difficult and there was really no reason for it. Why not bring the bolts in another inch or so? What am I missing? Also, the wall mount plate tabs could be spaced better. Installation is just… wow. Too bad, too, because if installation had not been so infuriating, I’d have given 5 stars. I really do love the unit.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Just what I needed

Such an upgrade and wonderful replacement for a larger, louder microwave that quit functioning. It is definitely a positive addition. It was easy to install and navigate the controls. Some have said the clock is too bright, but I like being able to see it from across the room. I am very pleased with my purchase.

It’s sleek and pretty . Takes up so much less space over our stove . It does stick out a bit but doesn’t interfere for us . The vent and fan are nice additions.

This review is for installation only. I agree with the review below. I have not used the microwave yet. Only one bolt is in so far. Several hours more to go on the second one.

I’m in the middle of installing it, and so frustrated that in this moment, want to give it negative stars. The holes for the bolts to attach to an upper cabinet are too close to the edges. I’m currently cutting out notches in the sides of my cabinets just so I can get those bolts in. Glad they aren’t new cabinets, or this microwave would be returned.
