Effective and quiet

The product does a thorough job cleaning and drying our dishes. It runs so quietly that I need to double-check the light to know whether it's washing or not. I like the ability to delay the wash cycle to save money on the electricity bill.

Functional, but needs attention to detail

The time for the cycles are a bit long; if the drying cycles are included the duration is excessive. The upper level is a great additional feature. The lower shelf is difficult to roll in or out; seems the wheels are either misaligned, or too small, or possibly track is incorrectly aligned.

Hi there- Thank you for reviewing your new dishwasher. It is great that you are able to take advantage of the third rack. We are sorry that the bottom rack does not glide as well as you had hoped and that cycles are taking longer than you expected. It is normal for dishwashers to run for up to two hours or more under certain conditions. Cycles times vary because of the clean sensors due to the sensor extending or decreasing cycle time and number of fills based on the soil level. Dishwashers now run longer to ensure good wash performance, but they use less energy while running. Also, in using less water, your water heater does not need to provide as much hot water and therefore is not using energy to heat more water. We will make sure to share your feedback with our design teams, as we are always looking for ways to improve our products. Thank you for choosing GE Appliances. -Krystal@GEAppliances

Roller Rack Failures
on January 10, 2024

from Hummelstown, PA
Lower rack plastic roller system - is a poor design for retention. Left side (facing) separates from rack when rolling a full rack onto the door. Problem is the molded twin plastic blocking tabs (on the roller system) do not provide adequate retention to prevent the roller mechanism from separating. The roller assembly uncouples and then slides rearward, separating from the rack. Both retention tabs are there but have inadequate deflection to hold the roller system in place.

Runs quiet. Cleans great with Cascade pods. Glad I went with steel interior. Shelving sufficient.

I love the third rack that is used for large utensils and bottle jets for cleaning, tall glasses/sports bottles. The dishwasher is very quiet and cannot be heard in the next room.

Love how sleek and clean this dishwasher looks in our kitchen. It’s amazingly quiet as well. So many features that we haven’t used yet but will be exploring as the need arises. Very happy with our purchase.

GE is not the product it used to be

Not a good product, Had to replace the circuit board and the power jumper to the circuit board to get a new dishwasher to run reliably. Would only power up intermittently. Arrangement of racks is not optimal. We run out of room for glasses and bowls, but there is unusable space in the middle of the upper and lower racks

Defective dishwasher
on September 27, 2024

This dishwasher was defective since I bought it. It was not drying the dishes GE send a repair company and it turned out that the mother board was defective . They repair that problem but now my dishes have water spots at the end of the 4 hours wash cycle. GE won’t change/replace the dishwasher because according to them everything is working fine even when is leaving my dishes with water spots. This dishwasher has brought me only headaches. Never buying GE products again because GE won’t stand behind their faulty product.
