Very quiet!

So much quieter than my previous one - love that! It does a good job cleaning the dishes, but the racks aren’t as sturdy as my previous one. Sign of the times I guess. All of the appliances I’ve replaced recently don’t seem to be built as well as in the past.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Quiet operation

Only had a few weeks. Dishwasher cleans well and has quiet operation. The quiet cleaning is the high point of the product. I am not a fan of how the racks are designed or which way the prongs lean. Seem to be continually trying to figure out how to fit standard items in the racks. However dishes some out clean which is the entire purpose of the product.
I would recommend this to a friend!

After fixing, works pretty darn good

from Virginia
Replaced a 20 year old unit with this one , and my old unit worked beatifully.. Only replacec cause I had a sale for buying two GE appliances so I added this dishwasher.. Even if I prewash the dishes, I do not know it they will get clean in one cycle.. sometimes its three or four.. I have tried everything.. but this unit is not worth what I spent on it.. I wish there were a way to return, but I cant.finally , at wits end I have scheduled someone to come look at it.. I should have returned it . but I didnt.. I dont like to give a 1 rating, and thats the only reason this got a 2. p.s.- you have to run the hot water in the sink prior to starting this unit... if you dont, they definitely are not getting clean. I have updated my review.. and the dishwasher if fixed now and performing as advertised... 2/18/26 . it is a quiet unit, capacity is perfect, interior designed for all types of items,

Disappointing

I'm frustrated with my brand-new GE GDP670SYVFSS. If I put the middle rack up high, my normal-size wine glasses bonk into the top rack. If I put the middle rack down low, the water spray arm bonks into the silverware. The racks are rickety and hard to slide in and out. None of the tines fold down on any of the racks. There's no way to keep wine glasses from flopping around. There are water spots at the end of the cycle, so I guess I'll have to buy a "rinse agent" - something my old machine didn't require. It's quiet and it looks nice, but it's a sad substitute for my old machine. (I wanted to add photos, but the form won't let me.)
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
