Great machine

I love this dishwasher. It is so quiet I don’t know it’s running. Dishes come out clean and dry. Glasses are not cloudy at all. Plenty of room and I like the extra tray for larger utensils.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Dishwasher itself is great, I don't love the racks

I think the dishwasher works great, however I don't love the top 3rd rack, its not as functional as my old one was. I also really liked the older version better from the one I had to replace. Also - I don't really like the placement of the tines in the lower rack for plates, etc.

My husband jokes that he is going to send it back because it is too quiet! My glasses sparkle and my dishes are spotless. Love it!

Looks good but feels cheap. Quality Control?

Since I installed this myself and removed our old Whirlpool, there were some notable differences in quality in some designs and components. The adjustable feet were very poorly designed, flimsy, and do not thread perpendicular to the frame rails. Very cheaply made and the metal feet mar our floors. When the door is open and you move it side to side, you can feel the outer cover move independently of the inner portion of the door. Feels really cheap. The overall unit flexes when you move it. Our old one had a plastic tub and was quite solid.
Is that sound deadening material a joke? Or is it for heat insulation against a surface. It is so thin, you can see through it.
The Good parts: the interior is brilliant and looks nice. the racks look well made. The exterior surface looks nice. Overall, the unit looks nice but not sure how long the quality will stand up to daily use. It's kind of like a supermodel, all looks and no substance.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We manufacture appliances with high quality parts/materials. We recommend having one of our certified technicians to access your dishwasher's door. To make an appointment with one of our Bodewell technicians, please call 1-833-4BODEWELL or visit this site: https://www.bodewell.com/schedule-repair-service.
Our dishwashers, including this model, have been designed to ensure a quiet performance. This model has a 45dBA quiet package. The total design of the dishwasher as well as the insulation affects the sound level.
This unit does come equipped with premium dishwasher racks. The smooth-glide upper rack makes loading and unloading smooth and simple. It can also be adjusted to accommodate taller items. You can learn more about adjusting the upper rack on pg. 14 here: https://products-salsify.geappliances.com/image/upload/s--jG5NoKyg--/bd93c0f41f59d8d6095436f5611accbbcc9ab518.pdf.
We'll be sure to pass along your feedback on the adjustable legs. We're here if you have any questions on the functionality of your dishwasher.

Thumper
on February 5, 2026

Runs very quiet except the thump thump thump which it make when the spray arms spins great right so the db rating is useless. This is the second unit with the same problem Returned the first for a faulty upper rack and thumping second machine rack is a little better but the thump is still there. Had a tech out said nothing can be done about it. The weight of the spinning spray arm pushes it into the upper rack. Have had GE appliances all my life. This is the first time I can say quality is not what it used to be.

We'd like to help out with the knocking sound and your spray arm hitting items. We recommend trying to load your items in a way that prevents contact from the spray arms. To view a complete loading guide for your model, you can check out pages 13 through 18 here: https://products-salsify.geappliances.com/image/upload/s--IBhPSDEn--/6fba7c80525460af1216d82020a1ab0a9435f48b.pdf

This dishwasher is less than a year old and it’s already leaking around the door seal and the upper control panel has cracked.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We'd like to assist with your dishwasher leaking from the door. We recommend inspecting the door gasket for any damage. Make sure the gasket (seal) is in good condition and is pressed properly into place. Inspect it for any tears, cuts, and wear. You may also need to make sure the door is level. Please check out the following article for further guidance here:

As far as the control panel cracking, we recommend service. Please schedule a service appointment with a Bodewell technician by calling 833-426-3393 or schedule online at https://www.bodewell.com/schedule-repair-service

It doesn't get all dishes clean regardless of the kind of soap. The top rack slides out on its own, which is realy annoyingl

We'd like to assist with the cleaning performance of your dishwasher, as well as the rack sliding out. Firstly, make sure large dishware does not block the detergent dispenser or the wash arms. You may also want to make sure the water temperature is correct. The water entering the dishwasher must be at least 120° F and not more than 150° F. Turn on the hot water faucet nearest the dishwasher, let it run until the water temperature stops rising. Then start the unit and turn off the faucet. This ensures the entering water is hot.
For more troubleshooting, see here:
https://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=38933

As far as the rack sliding out, the unit may need to be leveled. This ensures the dish racks will not roll in or out on their own. Please refer to page 12 of the Installation Instructions for directions here:

If the issue persists after trying the suggestions provided, please schedule a service appointment with a Bodewell technician by calling 833-426-3393 or schedule online at https://www.bodewell.com/schedule-repair-service
