Very quiet

Cons: I don't care for the racks. The back of the bottom rack's tines are spaced far enough apart that I can't use it for smaller plates. Also, they don't slide as easily as my old dishwasher.
The detergent dispenser doesn't completely empty. The are streaks of detergent on the door
Takes some getting used to: The controls are on the top of the door, so I'm always accidentally touching them when I open the door,

We'd like to assist with the operation of your dishwasher. When it comes to loading the unit, the lower rack is best used for plates, saucers and cookware items. Large items, such as broiler pans and baking racks should be placed along the sides of the rack. If necessary, oversized glasses and mugs can be placed in the lower rack to maximize loading flexibility. For more loading tips, see here:

When it comes to the racks sliding easier, dishwasher detergents can leave a white film or residue on glassware, dishes, or even the dishwasher tub itself. Soap residue can cause the wheels or rack slides to start to stick so that they don't roll properly. It's best to use high quality detergents such as Cascade Platinum, ActionPacs, or Finish Quantum Automatic Dishwashing Detergent. You can refer to the article below for more troubleshooting:

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this GE dishwasher and it was just installed this afternoon. It is by far the most quiet I have ever heard! I love the extra features like the bottle blasters on top tray, and the additional tray for large spatula, spoon, etc... and the water jets under the silverware. After researching other dishwashers this one seems to be the best option for everything I was looking for.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Quiet Dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very happy with my new dishwasher. It takes awhile to adjust to a new one but now that I have, I do appreciate it. It has a very large capacity and different cycles to choose from. Because it is energy efficient, it does take a long time to complete the normal cycle. But the dishes come out clean and dry. It is very quiet compared to my old one and other new ones I have been around in other homes. I like the third shelf.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dishwasher is SO QUIET, I actually have to look at the indicator light to see if it's still running. I wish the utensil basket was in the front like my old GE dishwasher, as it feels like I am loosing valuable bottom rack space. Otherwise, it works as expected. My dishes come out clean and dry. The third (upper) rack is a little strange in that it sprays from the top, so you cannot put a plastic lid in there as the water will collect and not rinse away.
I would recommend this to a friend!
