Great features

It's very difficult to push the bottom rack in when it is full. You absolutely must stand right in front to get it on the tracks and go in. Also it's to easy to push the control buttons when you push the door closed. The top basket isn't deep enough to hold most of my utensils. I wish I had never purchased it.

We are glad to assist you with your dishwasher. When the racks are sticking or not rolling smoothly, the most common cause is either hard water mineral build-up or a build-up of detergent residue. We recommend using a high quality dishwasher cleaner as well as a rinse agent.

Love Having Clean Dishes

We like this dishwasher. It cleans better than our old Kitchen Aid dishwasher did! It is louder, but at least it cleans the dishes. I love that it tells me how many hours/minutes. I am thankful for the 3rd rack for the large utensils. We have the basic cycles, plus steam (sani) or dry boost if we want. We did not need a lot of bells and whistles. We just want clean dishes!

Can't Recommend

Had the previous model and now wishing I had had it repaired. New model is much louder, runs much longer and does not dry well. Tried all of the suggestions on all of the links.

We'd like to offer assistance with the sound level, cycle length, and with the drying performance.
When it comes to the drying performance, we recommend making sure that your inlet water temperature is reaching 120°F at minimum. This does help cut down the time it takes to wash and dry properly. It can also be important to use a proper rinse aid. Rinse aids prevent spots on glasses and promotes drying by causing water to sheet off of dishware and glassware. In regards to the cycle length. It can be normal to notice modern dishwashers take two hours or more on certain cycles. Dishwashers now run longer to ensure good wash performance but they use less energy while doing so. By using less water, your water heater does not need to provide as much hot water and therefore is not using energy to heat more water.

Exceeded my expectations!

This product is so quiet that for several days I needed to pop back in the kitchen to see whether is was on and working. The only drawback is that I had to figure out how best to load it as the space configuration is slightly different than my old GE dishwasher.

Great 2nd GE Dishwasher OWNED!

Had to replace our 25 year old original GE dishwasher with this new upgraded one. What I can say in the less than one month of owning it is that it is extremely quiet and it fit perfectly where the older one was. This is a very simple dishwasher to operate with not a lot of bells and whistles which I like personally. The price was also great during the 4th of July specials!
