It is very quiet! Just what I was hoping for. My house is small and when my old dishwasher ran, you had to turn up the TV, with company, just talk a lot louder!

It's brand new, so the cleaning is good. The only feature I absolutely do not like is having the controls where they are located. Any light touch will set the machine in motion unless it's manually canceled. That's a problem for me, as I've brushed up against the door when it was open and my leg set off the start process.
