Glad that GE continues to offer slate. Installation was easy. Went the third top rack, otherwise pretty much the same layout as the washer it replaces. Very quiet.

GE Dishwaher - good for the money

The design and esthetics of the dishwasher are very nice. It seems to clean well and is super quiet. The only feature that is a little disappointing ifs the “dry boast”. We still have cups that have a concave bottom with water in them when the full cycle is complete.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good dishwasher with a couple of minor issues

Does a good job and the jets work fine, even on my tall 16 Oz coffee mug. Racks are strangely shaped making it hard to position some items. The biggest problem with this washer is that the instruction manual is useless. Nothing on how to load, what some of the settings do, etc. I downloaded the online version and it's identical.

Dishes always get clean

This dishwasher really washes well. I keep rinsing my dishes less and less, and they still are coming out clean. The cycle is really long with all the added cleaning options, but they do have a 1-hour cycle option that you can use if you're in a hurry. It is quiet when it runs, and I love the extra shelf on the top.
