What a Difference!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so pleased that I made the jump and purchased this wonderful little hand mixer. I did so knowing that the mixer that I owned at the time was still working sufficiently well that I wasn’t sure the new purchase was justified. However, I am so glad I made the switch. Finally, I have mixer that really has the speeds it advertises. My main difficulty before was that there really was no first or second speed on any mixer that I have tried. The minute I turned the mixer on flower would fly! My new little KitchenAid has the low speed that I really use the most often. Finally, I can bake a cake Without powder going all over my kitchen. It mixes well, is lightweight and quiet. All in all, I feel that this purchase was a good one, and I would do it all over again.
I would recommend this to a friend!

It is nice and light and I like the way the beaters cut through things like butter. I had an old style beater and the butter clamped on the beaters and was hard to clean.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have only used the mixer 5 times. The beaters are somewhat difficult to lock in place. The mixer is not as powerful as the Cuisinart I previously had. I am disappointed with my purchase.

Great mixer

I was concerned about the delicate-looking beaters, but they work great. I’ve made several batches of holiday cookies and the mixer handled well. The speed transition is smooth and the ejection of the beaters is easy.
