Good hand mixer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Haven't had it that long and have used it only a few times, but it works well. Really wasn't sure the somewhat dainty looking beaters could be effective, but they are. And in addition, they're much easier to clean than the older-style heavier beaters on my prior hand mixer (which was about 20 years old.) Hoping it lasts as long as the older mixer. And it's a small thing, but I epecially love the red color. If colors weren't available and it only came in standard white, I'd still find it completely acceptable. But getting to have it in red is like a little unexpected bonus.

Quick & Easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Mixer came boxed and item wrapped, was easy to open and put together to use. I like the color of the red, it matches my other kitchen d cor. So far has held up good while mixing my cake and brownie mixes and I'm sure it will continue to do so for a while, seems well engineered. It's just about as loud as your basic hand mixers are, nothing to crazy or annoying. I'm glad I got to try the mixer and add it to my collection of kitchen supplies.

Is newer better?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this mixer to replace my Kitchenmaid handmixer that I purchaced in 1998. It was still working, except the control button had broken off. No replacement part available, so I had to buy new. The new one doesn't feel as solid and the motor hums a little louder, grainy even. I was very impressed with my 1st 2 mixers. Time will tell on this new one.
