1. I don't think the difference between the L and I plate is really clear. It's not as easy as the shape of the camera; it also changes where the strap comes from at the bottom of the camera. I got an L plate for a Fuji XT5 and now I wish I had bought both to see which one I prefer.
2. The plates cover the battery door... just be aware of that.
3. I find the strap itself pretty uncomfortable. Putting 3 fingers in makes it awkward to push the shutter button. Leaving my pinky out causes a lot of discomfort between my ring and pinky fingers. The strap should have a notch there.
4. Setup was confusing and difficult; the difficulty is in part due to everything being black and the manual being tiny, but also because connections should be sturdy so adjustment is not easy. It will take some patience to get it set up as some iteration is required.
5. The tiny instructions link to this page which...does not have instructions. That's a big miss; even a zoomable PDF of the manual would be big help (not asking for a video here).
6. I bought this together with a strap only to realize the gigantic piece of aluminum that is this L plate only has one attachment point for a strap. And they made sure it can only fit one of the little attachment nuggets. The strap comes with a little piece with two attachment points, but it also uses the tripod hole. I can't imagine how this fell through the cracks during design.

Overall it's very well built and relatively clever. I love the stowable tool. But it misses some basic things - like a second attachment point for their strap.
I personally find it a bit clunky to add this huge plate just for a strap, and don't find the setup very comfortable (if you also want it to be secure).
I think PD could help a lot by simply providing better product guidance on L vs. I and easily viewable instructions online.
I bought this as part of a large order with the strap and a bag. It's a lot to pay for products that don't work together well. The bag doesn't allow me to stow the camera in a way that I can quickly retrieve it using this clutch, and I can't attach the strap only to the bottom of the camera because the micro clutch plate doesn't allow it.

been using the original clutch for years, and loved it. The Micro upgraded many small features and made a great product even better. It feats wonderfully with mirrorless like my X-T5 and makes the whole setup lightweight, agail yet secured

I use the micro-clutch with an anchor to attach the PD Clutch to. COULD NOT rate this combo high enough. Feels so safe and like an extension of my own body. 10/10.

Well built but not for female hands

Construction of the micro clutch is on point. Super solid, well built. Unfortunately it’s not made for female or smaller hands. I can’t reach the shutter button. There needs to be an option to make the clutch wider so smaller hands can reach the shutter button. Outside of that, it’s a great product.

I'll start off by saying I love PD and every product I've purchased from them has been great...until now. While the Micro Clutch was shown as being compatible with my Canon EOS R7, it was very uncomfortable, and dug in between my fingers when I tried to get in a comfortable shooting position. Uncomfortable to the point where I had to return it. PD, please redesign this with a little more comfort and useability build in, and I'll give it another try.

5 stars for the product, it is built well and looks great. -1 star because it sits too far forward on the the X100VI, it doesn't sit flush with the front of the camera because of the screw hole placement on the camera. I wanted this to work so bad. If there was a bit more adjustability witht placement, this would be stellar!

Works like a dream on my Ricoh GR iiix. I have huge hands and with this clutch I can pretty much work the system with just one hand. I hope it's released in coyote very soon.
