Not great for smaller hands/shorter fingers

Micro Clutch not great on Sony A7rV with smaller thands and shorter fingers. Chafing is bad in between the ring finger and pinky if you only use 2 fingers.

Mostly love PD products. This one is just OK. The fit on my 3 fingers is good, but strap attachment on the L plate is a bit far forward compared to the attachment on my OM1 mkII so it sits diagonal on my hand. Also, for the life of me I can't figure out why they designed this complicated arca plate attachment accessory instead of just incorporating arca grooves into the plate itself. Someday it would be wonderful to have a tripod plate on my camera and sit flat on a table. Even lens companies have caught onto this and started incorporating arca grooves into their tripod collars. Who knows, maybe they're saving that for version 2 so we can all buy another one.

Perfect product. Fujifilm X-E2 user.

Awesome fit, feel and finish on this product. The design team at peak design never disappoints and as an industrial designer myself it awesome to see every detail executed so well.
This clutch is the perfect solution for using my larger 18-135mm lens on my Fujifilm X-E2. I dont need to use a neck strap when walking around. I am able to relax my fingers and let the weight of the camera and lens create tension on my fingers so it does not slide off.
The magnetic tool is super easy to use. I was able to change my battery without stopping on a hike.
Truly a must have product for keeping your small camera setup small and portable.

I tried setting this up on my Sony rx100 va, and the d ring would not fit into the eyelet of my camera, rendering the entire product useless. Extremely disappointed with this.

Works with OM-3

Much has been written about the flat front and lack of a grip of the "throwback OM-3" . The original OM SLRs were flat and I believe respecting this heritage and the addition of a front grip is mutually exclusive. To those complainer, "Get it grip man! ". I mean the micro clutch grip. It works and it doesn't diminish the retro look.

Did not work out for me

I bought this one with very high hopes - I always wanted to have a wrist strap like that!
Unfortunately, it doesn't work with any of my cameras (Canons 70D, R7, R8, T70) due to the design of the strap itself. If I try to reach to controls behind the shutter release button it just slips, not providing the grip enhancement I craved so much. If I tighten it up, than it's hard to reach the controls because the strap is blocking the way, so there is no win scenario.
Unfortunately, it became the first PD product I really dislike.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Too small for OM-1
on February 13, 2025

Wanted to like this, and it's indeed well-designed. For my OM-1, it was too hard to reach the buttons on the front of the camera (next to the lens) and I thought was just too small overall (and I have small hands). Also the strap was really tough to adjust (if you have to move it to a different "peg"), and I don't love that you need to use a tool to remove it. I ended up going with a full size clutch that has a big "wheel" to to attach it, and has a 1/4" threaded hole so that you can attach a tripod or mount with the clutch base still attached.

Works great on my Leica Q3
on January 21, 2025

Works great on the Leica Q3. I’ve been using it for 16 months and can’t see myself not having it on my Leica. The concern about the SD card interfering with it is not an issue at all to me, since the Q3 transfers data wirelessly or by USB. I’m very happy with it.
