Richo GRIIIX - Ring doesn't fit eyelet

Followed the directions to the letter, there is absolutely no way to manipulate the too large ring through the eyelet. Bummer to wait so long only for it not to work. The website says its compatible, but it makes me wonder if they even QC'd it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

As noted in our compatibility info: the Ricoh GRIII Micro Clutch I Plate works on this little beast of a camera, but it requires using a Peak Design Anchor (sold separately or with our other straps) to attach to the eyelet, as opposed to the included split ring:

L-Plate works great on Nikon Z6/7/ii

Just fitted to a Nikon Z6 ii. As expected from PD, build quality is excellent (this thing is manufactured to very tight tolerances).
It’s very adjustable - maybe more so than the installation photos suggest (the retaining pin is fully removable, allowing for full adjustment of the strap).
Personally I appreciated the little touches such as the triangle clip tool. And the engraved markers on the plate.
Replaced a normal clutch that was just far too big for small mirrorless - bravo PD for listening to our feedback and bringing this to market
I would recommend this to a friend!

very uncomfortable - but your milage may vary

I bought the L-Plate variant via the Kickstarter campaign for my brand new FujiFilm X-S20. First of all: the quality of the build and the materials is very, very good! holding the integrated flat tool with magnets inside a slot in the base is a stroke of genius.
Unfortunately, I wasn't able to find a comfortable setup. You have to pass the strap between your index finger and your middle finger, otherwise you can't use the camera controls. This caused me discomfort almost immediately. I am sure it would lead to blisters or abrasions to the skin between my fingers if I would ust this strap for one day.
I tried several settings, but to no avail.
I believe, If you own a small camera body without a pronounced grip, the i-Plate variant might work well. My L-Plate variant and the FujiFilm X-S20 (would also apply to the X-S10) are not a good match.

Excellent build quality, but overly complicated

There’s a lot of smart engineering going in to this product, but I can’t shake the feeling it’s all a little unnecessarily complicated. It’s too bulky and no chance in hell you’ll figure out how to attach it without reading the manual. But my biggest problem is that it simply doesn’t fit my camera (Fujifilm XE-4). Plate goes on fine, but the strap doesn’t fit either in standard mode or with the extra ring. Build quality however, is excellent as usual.
I consider this a little bit of a fumble.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The I-plate was heavily tested on the X-E4 as the Senior Photographer here at PD uses Micro Clutch on her own X-E4.
Here are some tips that might help: The eyelet is not required for attachment as the hypalon strap can slip through the side slot. Because the slot width is a bit undersized, the hypalon band end needs to flex a bit to be inserted, but it attaches great. The band was made as wide as possible to maximize strength while still maintaining compatibility with the smaller slots on cameras, of which the X-E4 is one.

Just what I needed.

Just changed from Nikon DSLRs to Fuji X-T5 to save weight and space. Always used the original clutch on the Nikons. Tried to use Clutch on the X-T5, better than nothing but not secure and not comfortable. Thought to myself they need to make a smaller version. And then you did, perfect timing guys. Very pleased with the fit, comfort and access to the controls. 1 constructive criticism. Although the proprietary flat tool is very securely attached (magnetically) to the base plate, in use my fingers are not magnetic. I can envisage dropping this and loosing it. I would if possible like to purchase a spare, just in case.

Disappointing with the FujiFilm X-S10 and X-H2S

Couldn't get the L plate to fit comfortably with either of my FujiFilm cameras - either my fingers wouldn't properly reach the grip or the edges of the grip cut into the skin between fingers - maybe if you have hands like the guy in the tutorial it would be perfect (and the I plate might work well for cameras without a grip). Shame - its a well built piece of kit and the tripod plate would have been useful.

Not great on the Sony A7C and a no on Ricoh GR iii

First of all, the build quality is superb, feels nice in the hand, it has a bit a weight to it. I have tried it on both my Sony A7C and Ricoh GR iii. It doesn't fit the Ricoh, base plate sticks out over the ends and I couldn't even get the triangle to through the eye loop and scratched the eye loop in the process. It fitted the A7C but the bottom of the base plate sticks out over the bottom of the camera and whe the strap was adjusted to it's loosest position, I couldn't use the dials and shutter button comfortably. I love PD products but sadly this one isn't for me.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thanks for the review and feedback! We actually did test the I plate on the A7C and found it to work great if you make a few adjustments to get the fit right!
The plate sits far forward towards the lens side as a result of the tripod mount position on the camera being in an unusually forward position, but it should not be handing off either side of the camera body. The provided tool should allow easy install of the split ring without any scratching
There are actually three adjustments you can make to adjust the strap to better fit your camera and hand. First, the position of the pad along the band. Second, the position of the strap on the split ring. You can fine-tune the adjustment through the position of the plate on the camera.

Writing this to counteract the one negative review here.
This product from all the videos and information provided looks to be very well thought out. I like the inclusion of the tripod plate and the built in tool. Always a plus to have a tool that though specific/one of kind has a function and does its job. The attention to detail here is stunning. Based on what I see the overall look and feel of this product leave no doubts in my mind as to just how wonderfully it will function. I am truly looking forward to this being mine very soon.
Swapping that battery will be a cake walk too ;)
