Beautiful Refrigerator

Almost Perfect

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We really like our new frig. The icemaker works well, there's great space for a french door counter depth model, we like the recessed handles, and it's quiet.
But there are a few things that keep it from a 5/5 score:
1) PROBLEM: the 3 interior drawers are thin and flimsy, especially the full width drawer. This one also sticks on one or both sides and requires both hands be used to open it. Due to the thinness of the drawers, we wonder if they will be prone to breaking. SUGGESTION: construct the drawers out of thicker plastic so that it feels sturdier and doesn't flex while being opened/closed, especially since the drawers seal against gaskets.
2) PROBLEM: the center astragal does not operate as smoothly as it should. When both doors are closed and you open the right side door (astragal attached), the left door briefly slightly opens then closes while the astragal clears and opens. SUGGESTION: redesign the astragal mechanism so that the right door can be opened without disturbing the left door.
3) PROBLEM: sometimes there's a very slight rattling sound within the right side door while the frig is in cooling mode.

Sleek and dependable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our Bosch 800 Series could fit better into our new modern townhouse. We love how well it keeps produce longer and its spacious drawers and shelves. Not having handles on the exterior provides a sleeker, more streamlined look for our kitchen. Our only complaint is that the recessed handles do not reduce fingerprints. We thought this feature would keep fingerprints to a minimum, but that is not the case.

Bosch 800 series refrigerator without handles

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This refrigerator was pretty awesome. There is plenty of room inside the refrigerator and freezer compartments. The door shelves adjust quite adequately. The only issue that I have with it is the icemaker. It will produce too much ice, and when you pull the door open, the ice will fall behind the ice container. Then you have to dig out all the ice at sometime.
The front door also collects kids fingerprints quite well.

Fits perfect

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very happy with this counter depth refrigerator. It fits perfectly in our cabinet design. I like that is a true counter depth. With the inset handles it has a very clean look. Adjustable shelves gives you so many options. Ice maker works really well. The freezer has a great design with easy pull outs so you aren't constantly digging to get to items.

Love the design and space

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the outside design and various spaces and design inside the refrigerator, but I especially love the freezer shelves and compartments! There is lots of room inside this refrigerator, and I like some of the features like the quick cooling when adding warm items. The lighting is great too. However, I find the outside metal material is easily slightly dented if something hard hits against it. A disappointment for this higher end appliance. Also, I find it's a bit hard to clean when some little particles fall to the lowest point of the fruit and vegetable compartments in the cracks and they show through from the front. My only other complaint is that I could not install the new Bosch water filter on my own. Water squirted back at me, and I am waiting for service to see why it's doing that. Someone told me I may need to move the refrigerator from the wall and disconnect the water because of the pressure. Changing a water filter should be easy.
