Bosch Fridge

I love the look of this fridge. However, I do not love two things...the water drips and the ice over produces and there is no guard so the ice falls behind the drawer. The tech suggested using more ice (smh!).

Love this fridge

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was hesitant to go with a counter depth fridge at first but this fridge feels very spacious. I love the lights inside. Unlike other options this fridge is always well lit so you can find what you are looking for. The glass shelves were a huge selling point for me. I wanted something more durable than plastic. The fresh veg/fruit drawer really does seem to keep everything fresh for a longer period of a time than my previous fridge. My only complaint is how easy fingerprints show up on the exterior

Bosch 800 French Door Refrigerator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've only used our refrigerator for about a week. Here are my initiall impressions:
Positive: There is a audio chime to alert you when the refrigerator door is left open.
Negative: The refrigerator door isn't self-closing when you give it a push to close it; which results in the door being left open.
Positive: I like the freezer location at the bottom because we go into the refrigerator a lot more than the freezer and we never have to bend down to get food out of the bottom of the refrigerator.
Negative: The ice cube compartment is too big. We would rather have a smaller one and use more space to store frozen food.

Good and Bad

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the design and ability to see all your food with ease but the quality of the unit is questionable.
14 months after our purchase, the ice maker went out. It was not under warranty so we had to purchase a new one but our local supplier did not charge for labor to install. Would think an ice maker should last more than 14 months!
The drawers no longer close properly. There are gaps. Almost appears to be warped? It doesn't seem to impact the function of the drawers but bad look.
There is a seal that has ripped. Again, the fridge seems to be holding temperature so for now, it seems ok but we are not hard on our appliances so feel this just shouldn't happen.
Lastly, I do not care for the stainless especially the handles. They consistently need cleaning. Admittedly, I am reviewing a 3 year old unit now so perhaps they changed their materials but if not, they could use improvement.
Design is good, material quality is questionable.

Perfect Balance

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] BOSCH designers engineered the perfect balance of refrigeration space with freezer capacity. Plenty of room! The ice cube is great for quickly cooling any beverage and the cube density isn't going to burn out your blender while making frozen desserts or healthy smoothies.

Good looking fridge with a clean and classy design

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The unit is two months old now and runs perfectly. I like the clean design, without the more common hole in the front for the water and ice dispenser. The ice maker didn't work at first until I found out how to do a master reset, something which should have been in the owner's manual. I had to search for the solution on the internet. Once working, the icemaker makes lots of nicely shaped ice. The unit is quiet and fits into the space of our previous SubZero.
I would recommend this to a friend!
