Nice looking piece and fits

Nice looking piece and fits well in the space we have.
Noise level not a problem and can tell when it’s addressing odor issues in the room .
Would strongly recommend to anyone looking for a well made product that really works.

Dirty sock smell

I bought two of these four years ago. While they do reduce the dust, I’ve been chasing a dirty sock smell for years now. My house is clean and I couldn’t figure out where the smell was coming from. Turns out, these so called “air purifiers” were causing the smell. Horrible!!

I purchased the Classic for

I purchased the Classic for the main part of my house and the Flex for my bedroom to help with cigarette smoke from a neighbor and also campfire and fire pit smoke and am very happy with the results. I moved to the Central Coast since I have a lot of sinus issues and was very sick and had constant severe headaches when living in the Central Valley of California so I was very discouraged when a couple of years ago those symptoms were returning due to the smoke problem. I had put in an electric attic fan but that was not effective on it's own so a friend suggested an air purifier and I'm so glad she did. I researched purifiers and settled on Alen in large part due to reviews on how effective they were with smoke. I love the Classic! I have it set for "auto" so when the speed kicks up to high and the red light comes on if I haven't already smelled the smoke and turned on the attic fan I then turn it on to help clear the smoke sooner. After about two weeks of having the purifiers I'm feeling better the headaches and sinus pain are essentially gone and I have more energy. The purifiers are also very easy to set up and the filters are easy to access to replace or clean. I'm very happy with the purchase.

Strange Fruity Smell

At first purifier worked great, but after only using it for a month there is a fruity smell that comes from the air after its purified. I will be contacting customer service.

Love my Alen Air Purifier

I’m so in love with my Alen air purifier. This is the fourth one I have bought in the last year. Two are in my home, one in my father’s home, and one in my daughter’s home. It is a game changer. It had significantly reduced the dust in my house and helps with things like Cooking odors as well! I love the color sensor that shows my home is current air quality. After I’ve had people in my home I just feel better that I can turn it to high after they leave and to remove germs.

The air purifier I have been looking for

These purifiers are great. Such a simple well constructed design. I've used other purifiers from big box stores in the past. Alen is far superior. A one piece filter that's simple to change. The controls are easy to use. The air quality monitor LED is a nice touch. I also like that you can turn off the indicator lights with one tap of the power button.
