This is the one you want

This Air Purifier is the one you want. After moving from a regular single dwelling house into an Apartment on the 16th floor, I noticed a cough I never had before. A friend mentioned that it would highly likely be the air quality (or lack thereof) in the Apartment. Researching for the best quality Air Purifier I came across the Alen BreatheSmart Purifier. Although it was the highest priced I decided to go for it. NEVER regretted it, it is an amazing product, worth every penny. Have recommended it to friends and will continue to do so ...

Love the AUTO mode. Cycles on higher speeds when needed and then goes back to a lower setting when needed. Air is cleaner...made a huge impact to our families allergies.

well worth the money spent

I have been very happy with the results, I suffer from c.o.p.d. and the quality of the air in my home has greatly improved, I live in (Las Vegas) and it seems to have helped in the amount of dust in the air, if I were going to suggest any improvements, it would have to be that the unit came with wheels for easier mobility as I do like to have it in the room I am currently in.

I purchased two of these and have been using one on each floor of my home for about a month now. I am very impressed with these units. About a year go, I moved into a home that had some interior water damage caused by improperly flashed windows. The damage was fixed, but I've always had suspicions that my indoor air quality isn't as good as it could be. My 9-month-old has consistently had a runny nose since he was born. His doctor said that he wasn't sick, but could be suffering from an allergy (or that it might just be what babies do). Well I can say that his nose stopped running the 2nd day after turning these units on, and he's been sleeping straight through the night ever since. Could this just be what babies do? Sure. Could it be that the pink noise helps him sleep? Maybe. But it's definitely not the placebo effect considering he doesn't understand what that is or that I even changed his environment.. For what it's worth, it just smells fresher in my house now, and we've had a handful of friends comment on it before even knowing that we were running these.
They're not the smallest, but they're not ugly either. They're probably not the quietest you could find but their noise level really doesn't bother us. The turbo setting is the only noticeable one, and if that one is kicking on, then you likely need it more than you need silence.
They are not cheap, but you get quality when you pay for quality. I was fortunate in that I had my son's doctor write a prescription for these, so I was able to use money from my Health Savings Account to purchase them. Even if this wasn't an option, I still would have purchased them based on the reviews and the warranty. Simply put, after a month, I am extremely happy with my purchase.

Breathing a bit easier!

We ordered three Breath Smart units. We have dogs, cats, and a bird. So that can only tell one just how much air pollutants we had in our home. I can say my son that had been sick since September 2013 has not needed to return to the doctor for asthma related issues.
I have the best vacuum cleaner sold on the market but it was just not enough to keep out all the dust. As soon as our dogs lay next to the Breath Smart, the pollutant level button turns RED... I have cleaned each pre-filter several times and was amazed at the hair and dust on the filter.
I would make one suggestion; recommend a better way to lean the pre-filter. We are currently using a rubber brush sold for cleaning hair off furniture; works great! Also be careful not to put holes in the backside of your main filter; that should be added to instruction.
I was pleased with the payment plans options and received great customer service. Time we only tell about warranty pros and cons.
The machine is quiet except when turn up high; which we needed. Common sense will tell you that this machine will not remove dust already stuck on things. However, it will remove the dust from the air while you are dusting. JUST SPRING CLEAN when you get your machine.
