My air purifier works exactly

My air purifier works exactly as advertised. I love it. I have to say that even the way it was packaged when it arrived, and the documentation that came with it inspired confidence in the product, and it has not disappointed. I smoke in one room in my house, in the basement, so I purchased the filter for smoke and it has made all the difference. I turn it on with the 4-hour timer when I first get up in the morning, have my morning cigarette, go off to work, and when I come home at the end of the day my house is not only fresher , but less dusty even upstairs (I live in a dry, dusty climate). I turn it on again with the timer and it goes off by itself after I go to bed. This was really a great investment for me.
By far the BreatheSmart is the most luxurious and high-end Air Purifier that I've come across. I ordered it in Safari Black and it was just gorgeous. I didn't have to worry about the fireplace smoke, cooking, allergies, and the power was great with minimal sound. My parents that visited said their pet allergies seemed remarkably improved and didn't have any symptoms. Since I don't have allergies, keep the doors open, and have a huge floor layout, I ultimately returned it. However their customer service is absolutely great and it was a hassle free return policy. I now recommend this Purifier to any friends and relatives that are looking for luxury Air Purifiers that would benefit with true allergies.
A very well engineered product. Great features. Low noise. Nice appearance. Great air filtering performance. Best air purification product I have ever bought and I have bought lots of them.
Every morning I would wake up with sinus congestion. I would have trouble sleeping because I would cough because of the nasal drip. The first morning after I used it no sinus issues. I was not waking up coughing. Then I had the smart idea of lending it to my teenager who also has sinus congestions. He felt better but I did not. It has become the traveling purifier. I think I'll be buying another one very soon. I bought the Alen Breath Smart. As a side note, the purifier moves the air so effectively that the dust from the plant shelf is falling on the floor as dust bunnies. I was shocked that the purifier was so strong!
The Alen BreatheSmart has definitely been life altering for my wife and I. My wife suffers from severe allergy/asthma respiratory issues and the purifier has turned our house into an environment of safety. During ragweed season, she gets sick just walking from my car to our home; after getting our purifier, this has been her best allergy season in years. We even took our BreatheSmart on vacation with us to use in our hotel room. Friends and family can tell a difference in our house too...my Father-in-law said it smelled "like a clean hospital room," walking in our door. A truly wonderful product, worth every penny!
I would literally wake up sneezing before we got this air purifier. The Alen Breathesmart stopped that on the first night, and I no longer need antihistamines. My wife is delighted with the way It got rid of the musty smell in the house, too.
So the main thing is, it works. Beyond that, there are some really nice features. The "auto" button engages a sensor that detects airborne particles. When we stir up dust, indicator lights change color and the fan speed ramps up in response. It is reassuring to know that it is working and that we aren't exceeding the tolerance limits of the unit even though our house (at 1919 sq ft) is more than twice the size the unit is rated for. Then there is ionizer button. It does make the house smell fresher, and the manual says it is "ozone safe", although I would not mind being a little more educated as to the yardstick by which that is measured. It's nice to know that I can turn that feature off. Although there are direct manual on/off and speed controls, there is also a timer and a filter life indicator, so they have thought of everything. You can even turn off the indicator lights if they keep you awake. We have the unit in the main house, not the bedroom, but it is quieter than our central air/heat, which is to say it wouldn't keep anyone awake.
We've had it for a month now, and we've removed the outer "pre-filter" twice and vacuumed it, and I can see it does catch a lot of dust.
I can't say anything about the warranty because it hasn't given us any trouble. As far as design goes, it has a sleek, sort of Danish modern look. I'm not overly fond of the way ANY appliance looks, but if you aren't bothered by your laptop sitting on your desk, you won't be bothered by the Breathesmart sitting on your floor.
All in all, it's a great unit, and I'm going to get another one for our summer house.
This product is well made, simple to operate, affordable, and does a good job.

My wife has asthma. I ordered this product for our bedroom. After seeing how much it helped, I bought another one for the living room. These two units were enough to cover the whole house. I would highly recommend these units.
