Bought a second unit!

I've replaced my two Alen 375's with two BreathSmart machines. I have found that the filters in the BreathSmart last longer and are much quieter when running at the #2 speed settings versus the #3 speed setting of the 375's. They also do a better job of refreshing the air because of the extra volume of are that is filtered. I have a large home so I was happy that Alen came out with the larger volume air purifiers. I also own a Blueair 503 that I use at home. I'm a fanatic when it comes to breathing air clean. I have had ongoing respiratory issues since I was a kid, but when I am home, I know I can breath easy...

This is my first Alen air purifier and it is great. I have it in my family room which is open to my kitchen and it does a great job. I put it on auto and it takes care of the whole area even when I am cooking. So glad I purchased it.

I manage a tobacco retail

I manage a tobacco retail store that has a permit to allow smoking in the premises. The sales floor is approximately 1000 square feet. Our old air purifier broke over a year ago and I thought I could go without one. The smell in here, needless to say, was terrible. Even when we left the doors open, there was a stale smoke odor that had permeated the store. I looked all over for a good purifier that would clean the air and take care of the odor. I decided on the Alen BreatheSmart with the HEPA filter for smoke odor and let me tell you - the stale smoke smell is gone. I have noticed, my employees have noticed, and many of our customers have noticed, as well. I ran it on the turbo setting (which is louder than the other three settings, but not so loud that we have to adjust the volume of our voices or anything) for about a week day and night and the smell dissipated after that. Now we run it on Turbo only when there is a lot of smoking occurring in the store and we keep it on low at night when the store is closed. It's done a wonderful job and I'm very happy with my purchase.
