I like the features, it works well, I think the night-time mode is super helpful. The only thing I would like to see is a filter option, a way to filter water as you pour it in. The recommendation is to use filtered or distilled water, but my set up doesn't support that.

I bought this last week and received it on Wednesday. I can't get it to mist. I'm tells me it's out of water. So not happy with this, dare I say piece of crap!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought one initially for my newborn son and when he moved to his own room, the humidifier followed. Soon after, I noticed a huge increase in my skin dryness since the humidifier was no longer in my room. I solved that problem by buying a second one for me. Highly recommend and very satisfied with the 300S product. I love that it has an optional nightlight feature. It’s also very easy to clean. I’ve owned many humidifiers that ended up being big pains to clean and descale, not the case with this one.

Works well. Needs distilled water if you have a gas stove. If you use tap water or soft water there are salts and minerals in the water that are carried airborne with the microdroplets of water. These minerals burn in the flame of the gas stove, changing the color from blue to orange, and this incomplete combustion may be harmful to health. With distilled water the flame in the gas stove returns to blue.

Everything I was looking for in a humidifier. Top fill, easy to clean, humidity control.
Only con so far is the range on the humidity gauge. Turning on and off through the auto function has a minimum of 5. I would like mine set at 1-2 but not an option. 5 works ok but once it's 5 below the target it won't shut off for 10% humidity, a lot times it will continue to run trying to hit that +5 above target and won't shut off. When it would turn off with a +1 or 2 above the target humidity.
