A simple thing like the power switch is giving us problems - it can take up to a minute for us to get the thing turned on. Someone designed it to be sleek and cool looking with no regard to operation. I think if you have to get manual out to operate a simple humidifier then you haven't designed it right.

Filter Sponge Disintegrating, Need Replacment

Been using for about 1 month. Cleaning according to the book. But, the filter sponge has turned yellow and is disintegrating. One spare filter sponge was in the box. No luck searching for replacement filter sponges. Otherwise it is quiet and does add humidity to the room.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We appreciate you sharing your experience. The installed water filter sponge is optional and helps catch minerals from hard water. You can remove and rinse it under warm water to clean it; you can also leave it out altogether. Please note that as substances oxidize, it is normal to observe some discoloration. Although the filters are not available to purchase, we are planning on releasing the filter on Amazon by the end of June.
