Easily cuts through heavy fescue. Better than my previous gasoline model in every way. Easy to use and has self-propelled rear wheels when you need it. It takes a few seconds to disengage the self-propelled feature, so backing up is less than ideal, but not a real issue. Good controls for start and stop. Good side discharge that doesn't easily fall off like other mower brands. A spare battery would be good for large lawns, but the cost is high. Battery from the trimmer fits mower.

So far I’ve subjected it to deep dense weeds, far from normal lawn duty. It’s been a strong runner, even though I have to take 2 passes to really knock them down. Under these harsh demands the 2 amp hour battery only lasts about 20 minutes but that’s really not disappointing under the circumstances. I can only imagine how easily it would gobble up an 8” high grass lawn.

After positive experiences with my Greenworks snowblower and leaf blower, it seemed like a good time to ditch my gas mower. So far so good with the 80v mower. It's light, quiet and cuts the grass with ease. Assembly was very easy, although the self propelled wire was not tight enough and needed some adjustment. Overall I'm very satisfied with the mower.
