I have always wanted to try sound machine like this out and I am so glad I got the chance! It is safe to say, I’m never going back. I use it every night for my infant and it has helped him fall asleep easier. It is sleek looking and fits any decor you may have. It’s not bulky or over bearings at all. The light, with different colors is great for those late night feedings! You can even change the brightness to fit any mood! The initial set up was a breeze. They have an app that walks you through it, took just minutes to set up. Then you use the app to adjust whatever feature you want, or you can tap the top button. I can’t wait to try it out further with routine setting when he gets older! I will definitely be recommending this to others.

Wish we had this sooner

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you’re a first time parent, a sound machine is a must have! The Nanit Sound + Light is an all-in-one sound machine, night light and clock that can be controlled and customized from an app on your phone. The device also can monitor and detect crying sounds, but we have a baby monitor that we like so we did not enable this feature. Before our Nanit we had a lamp, sound machine, humidifier, and a basket for toiletries on our little night stand. Thanks to the device’s compact footprint we’ve freed up a ton of space. Setting up the device took about a minute and was simple enough through the app. The app provides us limitless options to tailor our baby’s bed time and wake up routines. We are able to adjust the brightness of the clock, choose from an array of white noise options, and select light & sound levels for our routines. We use the Nanit Sound + Light every night to help our little one (and us!) get a good nights sleep. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this sound machine.

Great Sound Machine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I LOVE this Nanit Sound & Light machine. The fact that it is both in one is wonderful. It is a great size, small enough to fit on a nightstand or dresser but classy enough that it doesn’t clash. The app is great. There are so many customizable features on it. I love the new cry detector they added on the app. I get an alert on my phone if baby is upset. I also like that I can control the light and that sound volume from the app too. Not having to go into the room and risk disturbing baby is so great. You can’t go wrong with this light and sound machine. Thank you to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for allowing me to try out this great product.

Nanit Sound and Light

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Nanit Sound + Light through the Stellar Product Testing Panel and we love it! The app was a little difficult to set up initially as there was problems connecting to our WiFi, despite following the step by step instructions. We ended up having to restart the whole process over in order to troubleshoot the issue but after that the app has been super easy to use. I love that you can preprogram routine settings from your phone and I am excited to use the Okay to Wake function once our first born is a bit older. The multicolored lighting options are great and I can see how it might be fun for older kids to pick which colors they like in their room. The size and design of the light is sleek and modern while still being bright enough to see in the middle of the night. We are expecting our second baby in September and I know this night light will be of great help for night feeds, as well as establishing consistent sleep routines for our oldest.

So easy to use with so many options

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am living in luxury with the Nanit sound and light machine. There are so many sound options and limitless light options. The best part is that I can control it from wherever I’m at with just my phone! Do I want to change the sound from ocean waves to a good morning lullaby? Done. From anywhere in the house! Did I forget to turn off the machine when I got the baby and am now stuck on the couch with the baby? Easy! I can do it right there. I love it. I also love that it has the time on it. It is so sleek looking and so simple to use. I recommend this a hundred times over. The only downside is that it does require wifi, but the wifi is also what makes it so easy. The Best sound and light machine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the best sound and light machine we have ever owned. I love the options for sounds, but do wish we could combine sounds. My son loves the heartbeat but it's not quite enough to keep him asleep during louder noises.
We have been able to set up routines via the app, with different colors and sounds for each time of day. Which is so helpful for our older son. He knows when it's time to settle down, time to get up, when it's lunch time, and when his little brother is sleeping. The app makes everything so simple and easy to set up, and even if you don't have your phone on you, you can easily turn on the machine manually.
I'm absolutely obsessed with the Nanit, and I think the look and design is beautiful and simple. It's not distracting, ans easily goes with any decor. If you choose to use the light up feature you can literally use any color on the app, or even customize your own. And to top it off, the time can be displayed, the brightness can be changed, and you can even turn it off. My very favorite part is that I can easily hit the top button to turn on and off the machine for all the times my phone has died or I've forgotten it in the other room.

App integration makes parenting easier

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a mom of 4 kids (our youngest 7 months), I know how important sleep is for babies, kids and adults. When our third baby wasn't sleeping, I learned a lot about baby sleep- they need a dark room whenever sleeping, a sound machine to block out noise that could wake them early and lot of patience with the parents while they learn to sleep on their own.
We used a sound machine and blackout curtains we found online to help transition the bright nursery into a cozy, dark slumber space. We quickly learned these things really help the baby to learn to sleep on their own.
Enter this new sound and light machine from Nanit, full of features I didn't know I needed! Like, adjusting the sound machine volume from my phone through the app. Hello loud dinner parties and not having to sneak into her room to adjust the sound volume!
Or, setting the time the light should go on. Once our kids are transitioned to a toddler bed, we use a clock that lights up when they can get up. We will definitely use that feature on this Nanit for our baby when she's older. Cheers to changing the wake up time without going in her room and sleeping a little longer on the weekends.

Bedtime and wakeup routines upgraded instantly

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Nanit Sound + Light is an incredibly attractive and easy-to-use baby/toddler device! It is a sound machine, night light, and digital clock all in one. It works right out of the box, with an adapter and cable provided for charging. I love that it is portable and has a roughly 8-hour charge without needing to be plugged in. The rounded corners and matte white color of the Nanit make it very pleasing to look at, and safe for our 8-month-old to hold and play around with. We have it on the floor next to our baby's sleep space and use it for both bedtime and wake-up routines. The front of the device also shows the time which is visible in both light and dark, and we find it extremely useful during our bedtime and wake-up periods.
I was able to download the Nanit Sound+Light app easily onto my android phone. The app requires 2-factor authentication which adds to peace of mind, knowing that devices can get hacked easily these days. The app is very useful, allowing me to select and adjust both light and sound easily with large buttons. There is an endless selection of colors available, and 11 sound settings - including an upbeat morning wake-up music our baby absolutely loves, a lullaby for bedtime, and various white noise options (wind, birds, white noise etc). I was able to set up Favorites and Routines very easily within the app. If you do not have your phone handy, I love that you can still turn on and adjust the light and sound via a button on the top of the Nanit. We have a bedtime routine with a calming dim light and white noise, and a wake-up routine for weekdays and weekends with a bright light and the morning sound. Both routines turn on at the time set up in the app, which is amazing and another thing we don't have to think about doing manually every day! We absolutely love this device and intend to use it for years to come, especially during travel. Thank you to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this device to test and review!
