Light feature has been a game changer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As some background, my babe is 11mo (9.5 adjusted). There is so much pressure on parents about how your baby sleeps. I get overwhelmed by all of the information about the “right” way for a baby to get the best sleep. The Nanit Sound + Light has been a great way to “loosely” sleep train our girl. I love that we’re able to use the Nanit as a guidepost and then figure out what works best for us.
Naps have been so hard recently! We’ve been using the Nanit Sound + Light for about 2 weeks now and have made an effort to try to be consistent with the colors to signify that it’s time to sleep. Although her nap times can still be erratic, we’re noticing that 1) she falls asleep faster and 2) naps are getting longer! We are super happy that introducing color light seems to really help!
For anyone who may have already been using a sound machine… we have always found that white noise is best for our girl. Because we had a sound machine previously she didn’t seem to like changing it up to fall asleep. I have been introducing some new sounds for when she starts waking.
I have also been one to get nap trapped in my girl’s room so having a clock is awesome!

Fantastic Routine Addition

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this Nanit Sound + Light as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel and am so happy to be able to test this product. I had been looking at sound machines to help my twin boys, 13 months, with their bedtime routine. I love all the options of sounds and lights that come with this machine, it’s wonderfully customizable! My kids have all thrived off of a consistent routine and having the same sound to wind down to each night that I can control from my phone has been the perfect addition. They love the colors we use and really enjoy having a gentle sound to wake up to each morning. I absolutely would recommend this product!

Handy app feauture

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given this sound machine to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.
Included in box is QR code to download app. From there is was super easy to set up sound machine. You definitely need to spend time playing around with settings to find out what works best for you. It has 11 sounds and 10 different colors. You can also adjust brightness and volume. Very convenient to be able to do it all from your phone so if you want to turn it on you don’t need to go in nursery where baby will see you. I’m a stay at home mom so wake up and nap times are very fluid so I didn’t have a need to set schedules with it, but it would be very convenient for working mamas. The wake up music is very catchy sounding and gets my little guy bobbing his head to the music :) I was pretty bummed because my little guy got ahold of it and when dragging it down hall, the cord broke off at machine plug in. I found an extra that worked with it but wish it detached easier to prevent it from busting. It’s very simple to control settings with onboard buttons but app feature is the best!

Exceeded My Expectations

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter is two years old and has NOT been able to sleep without some kind of white noise and light in her bedroom. I had previously used a humidifier that had light and sound options but it wasn’t cutting it. This product has completely changed the way bedtime goes in my house! I LOVE how many options there are to customize sound, light colors, and establish routines. My daughter just loves to use my phone to turn this machine on every single night! It makes her look forward to bedtime! I also love that I can relocate this machine if I need to bring it to my in-laws or on vacation! The recent update which added a fade-in and out feature for the sound to gently turn on and off was a really nice addition as well. I truly do highly recommend this product, especially for the parents struggling with sleep quality and bedtime routines!

Makes Life Easier

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There's a lot to love about the Nanit Sound + Light machine. First, I love that it has a very elegant and simple design, plus, the clock on the front helps me keep track of feeding times without having to pull out my phone. I also love that there is an app to go along with the device so I can adjust the light and volume levels immediately when I want to lower and dim the light but also, it's helpful and easy to set up my favorite settings with both the light color and the sound. I adjust the settings so my toddler knows when it's time to rise so it has eliminated a few of those middle of the night wake ups because he now knows if the color is still blue, that means it's time for sleep.
I was pleased with the variety of sounds too, the white noise is our favorite but we have it change to the nature sounds when it's time to wake up so it helps our toddler wake up slowly and on his own.
Overall, this has made life easier and my baby and toddler seem to sleep a lot better with the Nanit sound and light.

Best sound and light machine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nanit Sound + Light is an awesome machine. It is rechargeable, portable and small in size. The clock display is a great bonus feature. Setting it up and connecting it to the app was a breeze. I love that with one button I can turn it off/on quickly and easily. Some fancy features aren’t being used at the moment because my baby is still an infant. But I will definitely use it when he gets to toddler age. The app control is very nice and the wide volume range has been wonderful. We start off with lullaby which calm and soothe my baby and help him fall asleep. We then switch to white noise. I appreciate that there are multiple options of white noises and variety of different colors, which allows me to choose one that is best for my baby. The cry detection is a cool feature. It notifies me on my phone to tell me my baby is crying. Thank you to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for allowing us to test this sound + light machine out. I will be recommending to my family and friends.

Durable sound machine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We really enjoyed the feature “routines” with prompts for us to customize. We decided to add in wake up routine, bedtime routine, reading routine and nighttime routine. We have them all automated at specific times, colors and sounds to help establish the timing for each next step of their day. It’s pretty easy to set up the customizations that we wanted for the routines. It has a sleek design I like that it is all white in the back port to plug it into the wall is very sturdy and doesn’t easily fall out or be able to be pulled out by the children which was an important feature for us. This was probably our favorite feature because with previous sound/light machines, the cord would easily rip out and then we had a really difficult time getting it to reconnect and had to replace it. Thanks so much to Stellar Product Review for having us test out the Nanit Sound+ Light! We will be repeat customers!

3 in 1 amazing gadget

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A big thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this sound machine! I got this just when I needed it. Our old light machine/ok to wake clock had just gone out.
I absolutely LOVE this!!! It has so many cool features and I used to have 3 different gadgets in our boys’ room (sound, ok to wake, and light) - this does all 3!!!! It was super easy to set up right from my phone, all the promptings are super easy to follow. I can set up their daily wake, nap, ready for bed, and nighttime routines and I’m able to switch it on/off anytime I want to. For example, once the sound machine was on but I couldn’t get my oldest to hear me so I turned it off on my phone from downstairs so he could hear me upstairs! Very convenient!!! I also walked by their room and felt like it was too bright as they were sleeping so from my phone yet again I could adjust it to a dimmer lighting. I think that’s my favorite feature is the ability to control it from my phone. It’s completely customizable and can grow with your kids’ needs.
I think it’s very modern and sleek looking - not too juvenile for my oldest. It fits right in with the theme of their room too. Overall I absolutely LOVE this sound machine and I’m super happy I got to test it out! I would say if there’s one thing I wish I could add, it would be the ability to talk into it from my phone like a walkie talkie. I see it has a microphone on it for cry detection as a recent feature but it would be nice to be able to give them a good “get back in your bed!” right from my phone - I’m sure most parents know what I’m talking about LOL. I highly recommend this product!!!
