Light feature has been a game changer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As some background, my babe is 11mo (9.5 adjusted). There is so much pressure on parents about how your baby sleeps. I get overwhelmed by all of the information about the “right” way for a baby to get the best sleep. The Nanit Sound + Light has been a great way to “loosely” sleep train our girl. I love that we’re able to use the Nanit as a guidepost and then figure out what works best for us.
Naps have been so hard recently! We’ve been using the Nanit Sound + Light for about 2 weeks now and have made an effort to try to be consistent with the colors to signify that it’s time to sleep. Although her nap times can still be erratic, we’re noticing that 1) she falls asleep faster and 2) naps are getting longer! We are super happy that introducing color light seems to really help!
For anyone who may have already been using a sound machine… we have always found that white noise is best for our girl. Because we had a sound machine previously she didn’t seem to like changing it up to fall asleep. I have been introducing some new sounds for when she starts waking.
I have also been one to get nap trapped in my girl’s room so having a clock is awesome!
