The promise is great, but the delivery of that promise is marginal. I have now purchased multiple Greenworks tools - trimmer, blower, lawn mower, drill and driver - and based on that experience, expected greatness from this cordless stick vacuum. I did not get greatness, just a shade above mediocrity. The battery life is much less than desired. I bought it in the hopes of a 45 minute use per charge, as advertised, but getting anywhere near that means you must run it on its minimal power.
More important, though, the service at Greenworks absolutely STINKS! I have tried 5 times to call them (they don't provide an email option) and have been on hold 45+ minutes each time, and finally gave up. If most of the products weren't so good on their own, I suspect this company would have long ago gone out of business.
In summary - try their tools if you want to go it alone. Forget getting service support.
More important, though, the service at Greenworks absolutely STINKS! I purchased this vacuum because I was looking for a cordless vacuum and liked that I already had a couple tools that used the same battery.
Likes-
-Cordless
-utilizes batteries I already have
-stainless steel filter housing makes it durable and easy to clean
Dislikes-
-The trigger power button-Where are you supposed to put your finger after you have turned it on? You have to hold your index finger out of the way of the trigger or are constantly turning it off and on. Who does this feature market too?
-The "brushless" feature simply disconnects the head from suction. It doesn't
disengage the beater bar and as a result, has done a number on my brand new rug that required a brushless vacuum.
-The dust cup is really small and the connection from the hose to the cup is so small it is constantly clogged.
-The battery life on super high suction is under 10 minutes, on low it is 45 minutes. Not sure how anyone else vacuums but when I do the whole house it takes me at least 2 if not 3 batteries. I am constantly changing the suction level based on the surface I am cleaning to preserve the battery life. I miss my corded vacuum...

I am keeping it because it works and I don't want the hassle of a return but I would not recommend this product and I am not sure I will buy anymore of their tools. We also have the shop vac (I have already glued the hose back together a couple times after owning it about 6 months) and the lawnmower (no issues so far). The products have low quality and poor design.

It's not bad. Good run time on a full battery and at medium level. The only complaint is emptying it. About half the trash (mainly hair) does not come out easily. You have to take the filter out and clean it too...if I were you, have an old brush, i.e. toothbrush, nearby so you can completely clean it.

I already had a Greenworks weed trimmer and chain saw, so when I saw an ad for their vacuum cleaner I ordered it immediately. I've been pleased with the fact that their batteries have lasted me for years. And when the vacuum arrived I really liked the way it came packaged in cardboard, when you open the box, the various parts of the vac are nesting in a cardboard form rather than plastic or styrofoam, so I wasn't stuck with bulky trash to get rid of. The vacuum battery charges really fast and and it comes with all the useful attachments.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the stick vacuum, I bought it for my stairs. It has a lot of suction. Makes cleaning the stairs so much easier. The only negative I see is the small container that catches the dirt. It’s still worth the money! I would buy it again.
