Simple Amazing

I have owned the Fenix 5 and 6 and I can say the 7 is simply amazing. Same great features, but the best is the touch screen and battery life. With the 6, I was charging it every 2 days, now I can go up to 9 days before I need to charge it. Great watch.

So much data! in a good way...

I had a fenix 5S plus and I loved it. It was time for an upgrade, and I am glad I stepped up to this watch. I was concerned that it would be too large on my wrist, but it is fine. Yes, it is larger than the 5S Plus, but not by much, and it works for me. It was easy to set up, and I am slowly customizing the data fields and "glances" over time. I strongly suggest that you use the manual as you get set up - there are so many features that you will miss some treasures if you don't. The features will make your head spin. So much data across so many areas.
A particular metric was eye-opening. I tend to go too hard on easy days. Not crazy hard, but harder than prescribed. The Training Readiness score has started me down the right path. I didn't feel tired, but my Training Readiness was consistently low - way low. When I started to stay in the right zones for my workouts, that score started to rise.
It's going to take months to learn all the wonderful things this watch offers, but even if you don't like digging into features, it is ready to go when you take it out of the box.

Impressive in all ways - fēnix® 7 Pro – SSE

The fēnix® 7 Pro is an exceptional tool/watch, providing extremely precise data (GPS, heartrate, respiration, cadence, blood oxygen level, etc.). The training readiness, body battery, and sleep score/activity are astoundingly accurate. I moved from the FR935 that had been used for 6 years, which was a great watch. But, the fēnix® 7 Pro – Sapphire Solar Edition is a substantial upgrade from the 935.

A good upgrade

I upgraded from a Forerunner 735, mainly because the heart rate sensor cracked. It looks like this model has a glass cover over the sensor. So far, it looks durable. I like the battery life, which can last me for about two weeks. I have hoped the solar feature can be useful sometimes. But it is winter now. The watch is mostly covered by the sleeve even outdoors. Indoor illumination doesn't seem to have any effect on the solar stripe. Just one thing I missed in the 735, which requires fewer/shorter button presses to turn on, off, and enter activity modes. I was able to operate my old watch without looking at the dial most of the time. But for the fenix 7 pro, I still need to pay attention to the current displayed information.

Cool watch

I just got this watch and used it on 2 trail runs. 1 short and 1 26+ miles. Not a lot of sun so not sure how much solar charging . Started on 100% battery and ended with 75% charge . Seems like good battery life compared to my Fenix6 .

This is my 4th Garmin, and I’ve never been disappointed by the quality, longevity, and durability of Garmin. The touch screen, emergency flashlight, and solar charging capacity are genius in this new Fenix 7 design.

A great watch but need some small tweaks

Coming from the FR 955, the screen seems dim when backlight is not activated. Seems to take more effort to physically twist my wrist up to activate the screen.
And on the activity screen, would love it if you show the exact model that I have at the bottom of the screen just like how it does under "my devices".

Otherwise, love the flashlight. Like it is not heavy. Please also polish the edges a bit more on the bezel.

Awesome Upgrade

In the past I owned a Fenix 5 and I liked it alot, but when I needed a new watch I wasn't training like I was prior so I got a Venu 2. That was a great watch, but did not have all the features I wanted as I began training again. What an upgrade from the Fenix 5 to the 7. The touch screen is a great addition and super responsive, the battery life is incredible, I feel that the HR monitor is more accurate than past models, and there are so many amazing features. I can't wait to use it come spring time for golfing and it is great to have open water capabilities again! Very happy with the watch, still learning about it, but very happy!
