I Should Have Never Sold My Fenix 7 Pro Solar

I used to own the Garmin Fenix 7 Pro Solar, and honestly, I couldn’t have been happier with it. Everything worked smoothly, it was reliable, and I felt like I had the perfect watch.
But then I made the mistake of selling it to “upgrade” to the Fenix 8 Solar. That was the worst decision — the 8 feels like a downgrade in so many ways. Now I realize just how great the Fenix 7 Pro Solar really was.
If you’re thinking about moving from the 7 to the 8 — don’t. The Fenix 7 Pro Solar is an amazing watch, far better than the 8 in my experience. I honestly wish I had never sold mine.

I got this watch as a anniversary gift last year and within one year the start/stop button stop working it was frustrating due to the fact that spending a lot of money for something not worth the advertisement, I call and got a new “refurbished watch” as exchange but I feel that this is my last garmin moving on to something else I had the fenix 5 before and it was a best last me over 6 years and the only reason I got rid of that wstch is because my wife gave me a new one.

Almost perfect

I’m not a pro athlete. I just really wanted a non-touchscreen watch. It has a lot of features and tracks my movement and heart rate very well. I would only upgrade to a newer model if it has wireless charging. The proprietary charger is a pain to use. I don’t want cellular connectivity or micro LED, I want easy fast charging and an easier to use phone app. Want to change your sleep schedule? Good luck finding it in the app. I would really like the titanium to be a harder grade so it doesn’t scratch as easy. I have a ton of titanium stuff and it doesn’t scratch easily at all. It is durable though. I’m clumsy and it’s been whacked against many door frames and still looks decent. Zero scratches on the lens. All in all I would buy it again if something happened to this one.

Great features except for the gps.

I got this a month ago. I am happy with the watch except for the gps in hiking mode. The gps in hiking mode is way off, severely incorrect.

Fenix 7 Solar and Garmin as a whole

Absolutely love the company and the watch! So many features to fit any workout plan or lifestyle. Company is phenomenal and always helps/treats there customers as one of their own! Fast at responding and will always have solutions if any watch issues arise! Can’t say enough great things!
