So far, so great!

This is my fourth Garmin watch and I have to say, they have gotten better with each iteration.
As compared to my Fenix 5, this is light, better battery, better screen, better features and the technology is outstanding. I have used it for a couple of different activities and the default screen layouts are incredibly intuitive and provide the information I need in easily accessible format.
From past experience, going with the Saphire can end up paying for itself with durability.

Outstanding companion for adventures and life

I debated between the Epix and the Fenix for probably about a year, watching reviews, talking to people, and so on. In the end, I went with the Fenix because I really liked the Solar charging and the display dimmed but visible in outdoor light. Other than that, they are basically the same. I do hear what people are saying about the quality of the graphics and sure, Fenix could be better but do not let that hold you back if you are looking for rock solid functionality and usability in all kinds of elements.
I have now worn this watch for over a month, been on numerous hikes and worn it while exercising and it continues to perform perfectly. One thing that I didn't realize was just how much I would enjoy the the app metrics--yes I knew they were there, but I look at them more often than I thought I would. I had an Apple Watch before this and frankly with the difference in battery life and rugged quality of the Fenix, it's far and above what I had. I got the 47 mm and it's really the perfect size, not too big or too little. I was worried that this thing would feel like a brick on my wrist but it actually feels very comfortable. Their silicone band is outstanding.
Finally, another thing I was surprised about was the accuracy of "Body Battery" and other metrics (like Sleep)--Garmin's software does a great job informing me about my capacity. It's not 100% prescriptive of course, just good info to keep in consideration.
At any rate, this thing has become my companion for all my adventures. My next step is to do off-trail navigation with it, I am really looking forward to that.

A Tracker that does Everything

First thing that impressed me about this watch is how fast it got to me from Garmin! I ordered it and seriously 3 days later, it was on my doorstep........ Garmin over here setting Expertvoice shipping records.
This watch is an upgrade from my 9 year old Fenix 3 so I've got a ton of learning to do, but what I've noticed so far is the 7 is just as intuitive as my 3. It just does more. the screen is impressive and the scrolling function works great. I also love the vibration feedback it provides while scrolling. I keep discovering new features, that were incredibly well thought out by Garmin.

Great watch, but...

I've only had it for about a month and it's a great watch in my opinion. Better than any regular watch or smart watch I've ever had. Flashlight is a super underrated feature that I use all the time. Tracks so many metrics and information about your body that you can't even wrap your head around it. Will take about 3 weeks of continuous wear for it to unlock some extra tracking health info and for it to really get to know you and your body. The only negative I would say is that the watch/screen has frozen up on me about 3 times since I bought it in the past month. Fixed easily with plugging it into a computer and hard resetting it. Take that as you will and if it keeps happening I might end up asking for a replacement. Maybe I just got a lemon, who knows.

This is a fantastic watch. I love all of the features and data that it gives. Its quite durable and the sapphire screen is still perfect after 6 months of daily use. I have used this watch for climbing, skiing, gym work outs, golfing etc. it can do it all! i also love the light feature on it, i use it more than id think i would. The MIPS display is awesome, non-intrusive for daily wear. The battery life is also awesome. so much better thank my apple watch.

Great watch. Accurate tracking, long battery life. Used for running/biking/swimming/rucking/hiking and more. Fits well, not too bulky while still being big enough to read and use easily.

Rock solid

Great watch. Previously had a Fenix 6 that died, so upgraded to the Fenix 7 pro solar. Thought the flashlight was gimmicky at first, but I use it all the time! Love the "morning report" that provides instant sleep stats. Highly recommended!

This watch is just rock solid. Durable, battery lasts forever, sensors are very accurate. The only nitpick I have is the solar makes it harder to see indoors. The built in flashlight is amazing!
