Battery Life for actual DAYS (going on 13 now)

As a cyclist (and reluctant runner), I've owned numerous Garmin devices in the past and they have all performed exceptionally well: durable, performed as expected, good life, etc.
When my last one died (it was an Edge) I decided to just use my apple watch while I figured out what I wanted. I've also been dealing with lots of surgeries from a lifetime chaseing of adrenaline so I figured I'd just ride out the Apple Watch unitl I got though the last of my PT nonsense. Well, we all know the story of battery life on those things so using that (with Strava) would just ruin the battery.
Long hopefully shortened, my wife got me the fenix 7 pro - sapphire solar edition for Christmas. I pulled it out of the box, charged it, put it on, and have not taken it off for 13 straight days. Sleep, showers, everything. I've also recorded activities every single day since I've had it so really put it to use - it's not just sitting on my wrist looking all awesome and stuff. This would be absolutely IMPOSSIBLE with the Apple Watch as it would have died 10x over at this point (I have no experice with the Apple Watch Ultra but advertised is 72 hrs). As I type this 13 days later, I'm at 11% - and even after my ride in an hour or so, I'm pretty sure I'll get to tomorrow. Absolutely bonkers.
If I had any gripes at all, it would be with the stock watch faces - they are just kinda meh. I tested five different ones and ultimately settled on a free one called Avak by frinkr. Great customization, easy to read, looks cool. Perfect.
So there ya go. Love it, 5 stars, 10/10, w00d let my wife buy it for me again.

I have had the fenix 7 for a month and it provides me with complete monitoring of my statistics which helps improve my performance.

I have had the watch for 23 days now. Only charged it once about a week ago, and I wear it 24/7 and workout 5 days a week. Much better battery than my 7 year old Garmin. Still figuring out all the features it has over the basics I am used to using on old watch.

Way overpriced for what it does.

The solar component doesn't add much to the charge profile.. and I live in Arizona. The programing is far from intuitive, and if it is anything like my Fenix 5X, it will lose support, what little Garmin offers in the 1st place, as soon a couple of new editions are offered. I got this as a gift, as after the Fenix 5X started to fail.. barometer going crazy, battery failing and no options for repair.. i would have not bought another Garmin. It is nice looking in my opinion.. and for now, as a new watch, it has good battery life, but I don't have a lot of faith that in 2 years this watch will still be supported and functioning well.

Exactly what I wanted

Thought about upgrading from my Instinct 2 for a while and found the deal I wanted. Worn daily for about a month. I use the flashlight every day, the screen looks as good as I imagined, and I went with an Ultrafit Nylon strap because my skin doesn’t agree with the silicone bands.

Confusing

Gift . I wanted more functions and maping and ecg etc.
However instructions to set up just a list of different workouts is terrible. Can't label them appropriately, data screens can't be changed easily.
I've worn garmin watches for multi sports and single sports for 20 + years.
You seem to be totally unable to write instructions. It's terrible.

Great Insightful Watch

Awesome watch. It's very insightful for monitoring your sleep and other health metrics. Many great functions. My only complaint is i wish it was sleeker with a slimmer profile like the apple watch. Taking long sleeve shirts off can be a bear. There are other garmin watches that likely fit the bill. a great watch.

Solar charging works well!

Traded up from a 945LTE. Touch screen works great and is easy to read. Solar charge feature works very well. I spent the day doing yard work and noticed that it was almost fully recharged from 24% when I started.
