Nice watch, but similar issues as fenix 5X Plus

I received my new fenix 7 Pro as a gift to replace my 6-year-old fenix 5X Plus. Unfortunately, the new watch has the same glitchy issues my 5X had. My 5X took FOREVER to sync with Garmin Connect in spite of every effort over the years to resolve the issue (up-to-date software, restored watch to defaults, removed/re-added device, worked with Garmin Support, had the issue with multiple phones, etc.). My new fenix 7 Pro has hung twice already saving workouts and had to be powered off. Also, I keep losing my custom watch face settings (watch faces I have tried from Connect IQ store are all compatible with this device). I was hoping the new watch would be more reliable than the old one, but so far not so much. I've had the fenix 7 Pro less than 2 weeks.

I’m still getting used to the new features compared to my Fenix 6. I’ve had the Fenix 5 pro and the Fênix 6, but I can say the Fênix 7 is the best of all so far. What I can say right off the bat is that it feels a bit lighter (I don’t know if it actually is). The display looks great. Having the solar charging is definitely a plus. Although, I don’t know if I have notice any difference in prolonging the battery charge. Now, the highlight is undeniably the touch screen. Being able to navigate the watch just with a touch of the screen makes everything much more convenient. Thank you for the upgrade. Much appreciated.

The bezel is terrible!

The watch software is great. The bezel is terrible. For how much the watch costs, the bezel should be more scratch resistant. Is it titanium?

I have previously used a fenix 6s and then an Epix and am so happy I went back to the fenix series ! Fenix 7 pro sapphire solar is hands down a superior watch !!! Garmin for life !
