Faster not only because of the built in coach but the constant info about mile pace helps tremendously.

Not Super Impressed (Yet)

This is a good looking watch. I not super impressed. It scratches way too easily. I'm not sure that the Solar works, especially living in Arizona where it's sunny all of the time. And the interface is not intuitive, difficult to manipulate, and a challenge to read especially outside. I sound like a terrible complainer. I'm not. It's just not what I expected after doing, what I thought was, pretty decent research. I'm grateful and will live with it as a smart watch!

Garmin fenix - my permanent companion

I use the Garmin fenix series since model 5 and it is the best device to get the job done. It supports me roughly 11.000km a year, be it swim, bike, run, hike in the monutains, or sleep and helped my to successfully achive my first Ironman.

Don’t like the way sleep works now

I mainly updated from a Fenix 6x pro to this for the ECG capability which I’m happy with but I’m very unhappy with the sleep function now. If I wake up in the middle of the night and use the watch for anything that is the end of sleep tracking. If I do an ECG or use the flashlight that’s it, no more sleep data after that.

Nice watch, but similar issues as fenix 5X Plus

I received my new fenix 7 Pro as a gift to replace my 6-year-old fenix 5X Plus. Unfortunately, the new watch has the same glitchy issues my 5X had. My 5X took FOREVER to sync with Garmin Connect in spite of every effort over the years to resolve the issue (up-to-date software, restored watch to defaults, removed/re-added device, worked with Garmin Support, had the issue with multiple phones, etc.). My new fenix 7 Pro has hung twice already saving workouts and had to be powered off. Also, I keep losing my custom watch face settings (watch faces I have tried from Connect IQ store are all compatible with this device). I was hoping the new watch would be more reliable than the old one, but so far not so much. I've had the fenix 7 Pro less than 2 weeks.
