Great Performing Smart Watch

I’m coming from a Fenix 5, what an upgrade. Touchscreen works great, fast functioning and upgraded features including the wrist heart rate monitor. The built in light comes in way more handy than I thought and better than fumbling for a phone. Can’t wait to put it through its paces on the golf course and in the mountains this summer.

Impressive Features, but Quirky GPS Recordings

I have Coros Vertix and Fenix 5+. I'm quite impressed with this new watch.The build quality, solar charging, and extensive sports tracking options make it a standout multisport smartwatch. However, there's a quirk that I've noticed with the GPS recordings during my snorkeling adventures.
One of the key features I was excited about was the GPS tracking for water activities, particularly snorkeling. Unfortunately, the recordings seem a bit off, as the lines appear unnaturally straight, making it look like I swam like a robot rather than enjoying the natural curves of the underwater world.

Great watch!

I never thought I would own a smart watch. I have worn the same Rolex submariner for the last 25 years. Apple or Google watches never appealed to me. I have never felt the need to answer a text or search the web from my watch. About two years ago I needed a new bike computer for my mountain bike. I ended up getting a great deal on a Fenex 6 pro and figured, worst case I would just use it as my bike computer. I’m very glad I did. I am an avid outdoorsman. I live in Alaska. I either cross country or Alpine ski every day October through June mountain bike almost every day when there’s no snow on the ground hike, hunt, fish, bike pack, and backpack. Since getting my Garmin watch, I haven’t worn my Rolex once. The fields, stats, maps are a huge advantage for planning, evaluating and training. In the last year I got my wife and daughter each a Venu and just gave my son my Fenex 6 pro and got me the 7 pro sapphire solar. The difference from the 6 to 7 is minimal but noticeable. The user interface is slightly better. It comes loaded with more activities. The screen is slightly better and the heart rate monitor is improved. I personally did not like the fact that it is a touchscreen, but it’s nice that I can turn off that feature. I would not have upgraded from the 6 to the 7 if my son hadn’t wanted one.
Battery life is great. Like a said I’m active every day and I easily get a week between charges. I don't connect it to my phone often so do not use that functionality.

First GPS watch/tool purchase so I for sure underutilizing my fenix 7 Pro now and have a lot to learn. It has been great fun so far. Initial setup is easy and I was impressed and amazed at the useful information I was able to see from day 1. I am looking forward to using this new watch as I live inside and out and can't wait to see what I learn.

I've wanted a Garmin watch for years. Finally got this for my birthday. I'm quite happy with it. Worth every penny. Far FAR surpasses the other brands I've tried over the years. Truly a quality product.

I have had my watch for 1 week and the titanium bezel is all scratched up I don’t understand why it would scratch so easy everything else is incredibly amazing but just though I bought the one that wouldn’t scratch easy
