nice watch although some inconsistencies

I bought this watch a month ago and its Garmin coach app recommendations are inconsistent with the watch calculated recovery time. it lacks adaptability. Battery life even with solar option isn’t really outstanding as expected!

Great watch

Needed to replace my dying Fitbit. I did my research and decided Garmin would best meet my needs as I was ready to leave the Fitbit platform. I wanted something that I couldn’t easily scratch or damage while being able to track my activity, sleep, HR and take an EKG. I was also looking for long battery life. I chose the midsize as the 7x was way too large for me and it has a longer battery than the 7s. I wish there was an option for a shorter band but I haven’t found that yet. I am impressed with the way garmin watch bands connect to the watch and am not eager to switch to a quick connect band although I do know that is an option from third party sellers. I am still learning all the features but so far I am very happy with my purchase , especially since I was able to get it on sale!

Great upgrade features!

Bought this a couple months ago and I’m loving it. I upgraded from the forerunner 945. I like the titanium bezel I could wear it when going out with its high end quality. Just ordered the leather band. The flashlight is a game changer! Really good brightness. Overall the watch is Sporty but classy ;)

No more battery life anxiety

As a person that has been in the Apple ecosystem for quite a few years I was concerned about the ability to switch from an Apple Watch to the 7 Pro Solar Sapphire.
After the first day of wearing the 7 Pro all my concerns were non-existent.
Super happy with the intuitive screen and solid feeling buttons to navigate the watch.
The Connect app is amazing as well. Such a wealth of information at your fingertips.
As for battery life of the 7Pro compared to the Apple Watch it’s not even fair to compare.
I look forward to using my watch for 100 mile mountain bike rides and not be bothered about battery life.

Sapphire glass seems awesome. Just the right mix of features. Coming from FR935 and already love Fenix7. Not too much, well balanced.

Amazing Period

I love this watch. I have been using the Fenix 6X and the upgrade is HUGE. So many features and it is so much lighter on the wrist. One thing that surprised me was the flashlight. It is actually very practical. The touch screen works well, I don't usually use this feature but is much easier to use.
